Does anyone know why Frank Kern's videos look better than everyone else's?

Hey Video Experts out there,

I have watched Frank Kern videos from the last Mass Control launch and now the new one he's launching on Feb 16. One thing I notice is how high quality his videos are. It's like they are streaming from a TV not internet.

I have broadband but his videos always load fast, are almost Blu-Ray quality, and literally don't look like they are just compressed files.

Does anyone know why his videos are so much higher quality?

    First, Frank's videos are shot by an award winning film editor/producer.

    Second, he uses top equipment and mikes. Not cheap camcorders or flips.

    Third, he uses AmazonS3 and not YouTube.

    Fourth, and most important, they are carefully scripted for a point.

    Most people don't put the time in.

    Frank Kern, John Reese, and Eben Pagan do the best online videos.

    Andy Jenkins does the best flash video stuff. His F5 videos were awesome.

    He lives in California, doesn't he? Where they make movies?
    He must have some neighbors in the business.

    For sure the videos are not amateur quality ... even though he
    portrays himself as 'no fuss, let's just talk' ...

    Plus, I find he is looking more and more like Jesus with each
    new video.

      Its not really a Jesus thing .. thats a pretty common surf dawg look for San Diego / La Jolla.

    Interesting observation. So much detail to get the videos just right.

    I don't buy all this lazy "surfer dude" beer drinking role that Kern and Moffat try to personify.

    Okay they do do those things but they are also obviously intelligent and most definitely do put in hard work and effort.

    I remember Frank said in one Presentation at Jeff Walker's Seminar that he'd only read about 3 marketing books and finished none apart from John Carlton's course.

    Well... I watched his video explaining the Mass Control letter and he mentioned The Robert Collier Letter and Magnetic Marketing in his 6 hour talk with Reese.

    This guy knows his stuff. And has put in the time.

    It is effective to tell you that you don't have to. Keep selling magic bullets, although in the case of Mass Control I'm sure it is good.

      I agree with what's been said above about using professionals and scripting.

      As for using professionals, I stopped shooting my own video for television years ago (I hire out now), but I can tell you that a professional will pay a lot of attention to things like lighting and sound. (Every videographer I've ever worked with has been almost MANIC about sound quality.)

      I've produced and written many hours of television news and documentary style television, and when presentations look and flow great, it's usually because of all of the backend work that's gone into them!
