Do you have GOALS, or just keep pushing higher?

Speaking with friends in business, I hear opinions from both sides.

Some people I know have a goal - for example 'As soon as I reach xxxxxx, I'm going to sell the business and retire".

Others don't have set goals, and just want to keep pushing things as far as they can.

What do you do?

To get the ball rolling - we just keep on pushing higher. We launched the business to make a living, and ended up taking it much further than we planned, now with many Fortune 500 and celebrity clients.

For us, that isn't enough - we'll keep going to the next level, wherever it is.

How about you?

I have this general goal, sorta speak, of getting to $1k/month revenue from the internet. The reason for that is my salary at work is around $1k so basically I would be able to quit the job and make much more on the internet as a result of focusing more.

I think making $1k is doable, and I would probly reach it much faster if I quit my job now... but it's kinda risky, also I need some money to pay for tools, hosting, etc.

I am also pushing as hard as I can

I work like this: Set a goal, achieve it, and then set another goal that is higher than the previous one... ad infinitum.

I am a kind of person that keep my dreams higher than before. If reached a goal, then I will set another goal, or even make the previous goal bigger.

I don't think there's any right or wrong answer here.. But personally for IM.. I'll go as far as I can (since I'm still young).. I'll reach for the top, even for the sky.. I do plan my strategies for sure BUT I don't plan on giving up or selling my IM business (except flipping websites - which is not my MAIN income stream)

Congratulations for making it big.. Yes I'm sure you are still hungry for more.. THINK BIG, go for the it, push higher etc.. I'm sure you'll enjoy the game of business (when you reach that level, it's no longer about making money, it's about how well you play the game, how many people you've helped, how many life you changed etc.. Money is just a score guide), it's about the passon!

    God bless you,
    Jeremiah
