Don't you think that's worth all of the research etc you get in this membership? I think so...

The whole purpose is to have feedback from others who have tried the source. They reveal their campaign, their pages, their solo ad, everything.

          That is valuable...

Then you can see what has had good results for them and beat their own control piece.

It's the testing that is valuable... and if you say well I do my own testing then you are missing the point entirely.

    redstanford,

I felt that same way. I plan on adding DOE to my arsenal of marketing resources but I don't have the $200 for the membership. That is why I asked if there were others.

So for some reason when I did the google search before I would not find anything or I was not understanding what I was looking at. Now I see what I not seeing...yes, very inept of myself. Thanks guys.

shmerns I learned the same thing because I put a coaching link and business plan link but they were affiliate links. They kill all other links as well and I had to reset the one that was not an affiliate link.

When searching in Google did you add the niche and then these keywords?
      (one at a time)

      _______ solo advertising
      _______ paid advertising
      _______ ezine advertising

Because whenever I do a search even using obscure niches I always find sources.

There are also many Warriors here that sell solo ads and ad swaps.

Yes that is true but you also have to look for outside sources as well. You cannot stay internally on the WF or your money will eventually return less and less conversions because a lot of people are on duplicate lists.

So if one solo ad seller here on the WF sells 10 ad spots and the advertiser purchases 1 ad from 10 warriors and then later comes back here and sells ad spots for his list then we are looking at list building incest here and your money will continue to bring in less and less optin conversions, not because your landing page stinks but because those people are already on your list.

This is why it is crucial to continually find sources from everywhere!

I've been looking at safe-swaps.com this weekend, specifically for solo ads (they also do ad swaps). I've heard it's quite popular with warriors.

Seems good - but the free membership level is quite limited, so you might need to stump up the $29 pm membership if you're serious about it.

But they have what seems to be quite good reputation rating system.
        Anyone else used this?

    Mike Hill,

You are exactly right. I did not do that before and after learning and understanding that, I was able to find other resources. I will begin my ad campaigns here shortly.

So when we do the ads, are we the ones that create the ad or does the ezine create the ad?

If we create the ad, who do you use for your ad creation service?

Some places create the ad for you and others you create the ad. Personally, I want to create the ad myself as much as I can. If they insist on writing the ad I send a list of bullet points and a "possible" ad they can use to revise, etc.

The main goal of each aspect of your ad:

Subject Line = Getting the email noticed among the hundreds in their email inbox and getting it opened.

Email Copy = Getting the link in the email clicked

Landing Page = "Selling" the opt-in...

After you have had a few successful campaigns with different sources of traffic you should setup a page on your website where you will have all of your successful ad campaigns. You can protect the page or post if you are using a WP Blog, so then if you come across a traffic source that insists on writing the ad for you, you can direct them to that page for an idea of what has worked for you in the past.

This will make it so much easier for them to create your ad and it will generate a much better response for you because ezine owners are not the best copywriters for the most part.
