Do you think people will buy ebook on Football(Soccer)?

Before starting affiliate marketing, I have planned to do some experiment. Do you think it's a good idea? Any other suggestion?

That would completely depend on what it's covering.. techniques, health issues, the history, etc. And of course will depend on where you're selling it and how you're marketing it. But yes, I am sure there are people online looking for info about football

Why not? The fact that it is the most popular sport in the world means that the market is already there. The spin that you will give the sport in your ebook is what will matter. I find that most people like to read about 'gossip' of football stars; the cars they drive, their WAGS, houses, escapades etc.

I think so. It's like a religion in some parts of the world--the passion, devotion and irrationality that's exhibited is just hard to imagine. If you go about it the right way, it should sell. Most fans are already used to having info about football free. You might want to use the FREE strategy to lure them into your marketing funnel at the beginning...and then monetize the list later. All the best.

Sure it will! You just need to find the angle and speciality in it. The more specific you are , the greater chances are for success. Do not have a book about football for everybody.. have it about something specific , something ultra special about football for people with specific desires attached to that area of football....

Like i know this guy is having great success with Fantasy Football game...
FIFA 12 Strategy Guide (i know it is more about video game and little about football
but i am sure this will give you few ideas that you can NICHE the Football market to have more intense and specific hungry market for your guide....)

I've seen sites selling basketball courses and make thousands a day, football has even bigger audience, I can't see why they won't sell.

Yes most surely.. If people can buy an ebook on komodo dragon, about ants, about ancient stuff, I'm sure people would definitely love to buy an ebook on soccer..

Soccer is part of the world-culture.. if you have a great product and sales copy, i'm sure you'll do well..

    Hope this help,

People seemed to absolutely eat up those products on how to "jump higher" a few years a go. I see ads for a better "Golf Swing" all the time in mainstream magazines. To say that there is a demand for sports betterment products would be an understatement.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

      ^^ This!

You can angle it towards soccer (football).

      Some ideas may include:

      - How to improve your sprint speed.
      - Increase your striking power (something almost every striker would want to do).
      - Improve your striking placement/accuracy.

and just another idea I had, off the top of my head, would be something that appeals to those who have big egos and would like to show off: How to do 'x' trick or even a trick manual. It could be called (as an example that I just thought of) Football Bible: 20 Must-Know Tricks The Pros Use.

Obviously, you would then go out and connect with targeted ezines, blogs, magazines etc. in the 'soccer niche'. There are countless amounts of these out there - more than enough targeted traffic that you can siphon with high-quality articles syndicated to these places (and more). You can also expand out to other relevant niches for extra exposure.

I am not sure why football hasn't been as ubiquitous in the market as golf or even basketball.

Perhaps it just isn't a paying market (prove me wrong).

I myself would pay for a book on football (depending on what angle you chose to take).

    Hey Fasial,
I'm a to-be professional soccer player, and I was thinking of launching something similar with my own personal training course delivered via video.

If you want to get players to improve their technique, you HAVE TO show this via video. You can't get players to improve with reading an e-book.

That being said, the same wouldn't apply if you were offering a history of the game, of a club, etc.

Find the niche though and please don't rip people off! In football we are one big worldwide community and together we can change the world!
