Can anyone share good or bad about paydotcom from the vendor side?

I have my first product up but am still working on the traffic generation. I have been considering paydot com.com as there is no initial fee and you don't have t wait for approval of your product.

Can anyone tell me from the vendor's side if they are good or not?

I wanted to use PDC for my product but I never got a response back from their tech support team and eventually gave up. That was too bad because that system was what I was looking for as an alternative to CB.

I just can't excuse poor customer service though.. guess it's a pet peeve of mine.

      Thanks for the input.

Any one else? I have made purchases through them so I know it flows seamlessly with pay pal.

I've been using them to sell my stuff since it launched.

Never had any problems with it.

Reporting is great and I get the money right away.

Refund rates are lower than CB for reasons I'd rather not share about CB's
    refund policy.

I would use both, but I guess it depends on your price point and if your
product is compliant with CBs dumb ass rules about what types of products
you can sell as a vendor.

    Hope this helps,

I have used PDC quite a lot, and had no problems. The only minor issue is that their page takes a long time to download, but that goes for all of Mike Filsaime's sites, I think.

You get your money right away.

Somebody tried to cheat and changed the code to pay 1$ instead of $47. PDC had thought of that. He never got his goods. I refunded, but I didn't have to.

    Thumbs up for PayDotCom.

Only now I use my own system with affiliate possibility and all, because I save the $3 per sale. But I might miss out on some possible affiliates.

I would use both - Clickbank and PayDot.Com that is!

CB is better known and more established, but the Refund policy does not seem to protect the vendor very much.

With CB, and affiliate can receive commission for a product he purchases for him/herself - with PayDot.Com he/she can not!

There are many Pros and Cons - you have to check them out and compare ... But I would work with both!

    Good luck, Giselle

I want to thank you all for your comments. 4 thumbs up and one down. PDC it is.

  • Personally I use my own aff. system, because I never got a lot of affiliates from the PDC network. LFM works great for this, and there are literally thousands of other aff. scripts...

Depending on your technical ability, that may be something to look at also. The $3/sale really only pays for access to their thousands of affiliates who can promote your product, and really, they don't do that in PDC like they do in CB.
