Help! Need Advise On Simple List-Building Tools

I am at a lost at how to use Constant Contact, which I have, to do the following:

I just want to offer a free report to those that give me their email address in a form, which I want to put on a niche site.

I want a tool that sends them a PDF file or sends them to a link once they sign up. I am relatively new, so you'd be doing me a favor keeping it simple.

I also want to know if it will conflict with my Constant Contact program.

    You should start with creating a list name for that niche. Once you do that a code will be created and have to do is take the code from constant contact and add it to your site.
    A Simple way to give the pdf is use TE tool box its free and easy to use. I use it myself.
    Once you create the download page with TE tool box.

    Take that link and put it in your first email of your auto responder message.

    Yeah, you just have to program your follow up series in your autoresponder so the first message links to your free report on your website or blog.

    You can also upload the pdf to your site using filezilla and then send your subscribers the direct link.
