FINALLY! First Affiliate Sale in IM

Hi guys

I just wanted to express my happiness at finally getting my first affiliate commission since I started Online Marketing over 2 years ago.

I started becoming interested in IM during my first month at University, and my goal was that by the end of my 3rd year I would have made at least $1 from IM, and now I can say that I have.

I built a website a few months ago promoting an Amazon beauty product, and I'm currently at No. 5 on the first page of Google, and have actually made a sale. Although its only a small amount (the original product was only £35) its still a huge step for me.


The plan for me now is to scale it up, get myself to the top of Google, get more traffic, more sites up and running and see how much I can make.

I just wanted to give a HUGE thanks to everyone here on WF, I cannot put into words how much this forum has helped me over the last 2 years and I hope that it can continue for many years to come.

    Now you've made the first sale all you have to do is work out the process that lead to that sale and then upscale it big time!! Once you find the system that works just focus in on it and things will start to come together easier for you. Good luck with it!

    Since you can rank a website, I think it's better if you promote more expensive product that gives more commission.

    Track and test eveything buddy, and keep using stuff that works, or traffic sources that works. and leverage your results. Keep going and keep up the good work.
  • Good work! I remember mine was a clickbank IM product of $97 at 50% commission. It's a good feeling, more for the validation that it works than the money itself. So now all you have to do is scale, rinse and repeat.

  • Great job! It's a good feeling, even though I make a bunch I still get excited seeing commissions, it never gets old. Sticking with it is the only way to make money, people give up now you just need to focus on what you're doing right and cut out the rest of the stuff that wastes your time to help get you your next commission.   • The first sale is really the key to IM because it gives you the confidence to really scale yourself and constantly improve. It is difficult to succeed in the long run if you don't get to see any results. Best of luck to you and never stop learning. The results will come.

A humble advice... don't put all your eggs in one basket, never completely rely on one traffic source especially Google, try different traffic methods and see which one is converting the best and then stick on 2-3 methods.   • Congratulations, I am happy for you. I realize that you made your sale threw Amazon, but I feel that I should share a piece of info to other marketers about click bank. I recently made my first $350 from click bank, but they refuse to send me a check. There reasoning: you must have 5 different credit card orders in your account in order to get your first check. Pay pal orders do not count?!? Since I only have 3 different card orders and all the rest are pay pal, they wont pay out. I was so excited that all of my hard work had finally paid off, but not so much now...
