Warning: Do Not Upgrade To The Latest Pretty Link Lite Version

Noticed there was an update available for the Pretty Link Lite plugin, so I hit the update button and it broke my site.

Loads of reports on WordPress.org about it, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

In the meantime, hold off doing the update to version 1.5.7

If you have already upgraded and broken your site, the steps you need to fix it are:

1. Delete the existing wp-content/plugins/pretty-link folder and contents.

2. Download the previous version from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugi...link.1.5.6.zip

3. Unzip the contents under the wp-content/plugins folder

Thanks ... wonder if this is true for the Pro version also. Haven't checked my installations or upgraded in awhile, but I'll probably just hold off on it. Thanks for the heads up.

  We've released a new version of Pretty Link (1.5.8) that completely fixes the errors that occurred in version 1.5.7 ...
