What to do if your site has been hit by Google Panda 2.2

One of my site has been hit by Panda 2.2; this has resulted in a significant loss of traffic for head, fat and long-tail terms.

What are the necessary steps I can take in order to bring site back into ranking favor and how long does it take for the site to be back in the same position it was before getting pandalized.

help please

Deoptimize. What do you do if your soup is too salty? add water! sometimes you are over optimizing a keyword on your page and google doesn't index that site anymore, so what you should do is deoptimize it, use lots of keyword varieties and LSI keywords.

Avoid backlinks from questionable sources. Backlinks should appear natural and gradual.

Provide frequently updated, valuable and high quality content.

Don't stop, just keep going and stick to a good strategy. Google want high quality content that isn't riddled with low quality backlinks. So stick to high quality content and high quality gradual backlinking and you're golden.

Adopt a marketing strategy that doesn't depend solely on Google.
