How Find The Numbers Of Competitors

Hello,

I'm using Keyword Elite to find the number of competitors for my keywords.
But there are too many differences between the numbers given by Keyword Elite, and the "real" number, that I get when I go to Google.

That's why I'm looking for a software that would give me the number of competitors for my keywords.
I have lots of keywords and niches, I can't afford to manually do it.

Would you have some advice to give me?

    I'd be less bothered with how many competitors you have and focus more on what the top 5 are doing and whether you can beat them.

    Opinion varies a lot, I use Market Samurai and some manual techniques but all I want to know is if I can get into the top five.

    I don't care if I have 100,000,000 competitors, so long as the top 5 are beatable.

    I agree. Number of competitors do not matter. Try to evaluate if you can get your site to google Page 1 and go for that even if it has lots of competitors. Come to think of it, would you rather go for a keyword with less competitors but the top rankings are from websites such as yahoo, wikipedia, youtube vids, shopping results, images, etc - these websites are difficult to surpass.
