[Product Creation] What is module? What product should have modules? Can a module have less than....

Hi;
I have lot of questions to ask here.

1. What is module?
I have seen products that have module and some don't have.

2. Which kind of product must have module?

3. Can a module, have less than 4 pages of 2 minutes video/audio?

4. What is the advantage of having a moduled product than non-moduled product to product creator?

That's all for now.

Thanks;
Raja Kamil

    Hey Raja,

    A module is part or a section in your product.

    When you have a whole idea or system you're trying to teach someone, and you want your audience to be able to benefit from it and to be able to understand everything your teaching the best way to do it is with modules.

    Think of modules as little bite size chunks of information you put together for better comprehension.

    To answer your second question; Products that have modules are more than likely something in audio or video format. If you used a module in an ebook you might as well just call it a chapter.

    A module can be as long or as short as you like, it just needs to give it's user all the information necessary for them to understand your overall topic. The advantages of having them are that your audience will completely understand what you're saying, not get overwhelmed with information, and it makes it easier for you as the creator to get your message out in a more effective way.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Raja Kamil modules are just a way to organize your product so that the person can understand it in a step by step manner.

      Hi Raja

      Module is just a term used to segment sections of a sites content - generally in a membership site or a training course with different aspects of content. It may Look something like this

      Module 1 - Getting started
      What tools you will need - Video 1
      Where to get free tools - Video 2
      How to plan your product - Video 3

      Module 2 - Production Creation
      Creating your powerpoint slides - Video 1
      Recording your slides - Video 2
      Uploading to wordpress - Video 3

      You could have as many pages for each module as you like and the content of each module could be anything you want be it PDf, Video, text mind maps etc.

      This how my membership site is organised and Optimizepress which is the theme allows you to set all this up really easily.

    The primary difference between "module" and other designations is generally that a "module" could conceivably be taken out and used all by itself, without any of the others. The implication is that if you already understand the subject of a given module, you can skip it and go straight to the module that interests you.

    Not that most people understand this. They just use it as a synonym for "part" or "chapter" or "section" instead.
