Please help: How can I drive more traffic to my site using CL?

Hello All,
I'm a true newbie here and have been generating traffic to my site via CL until I was "ghosted" was posting 20-30 adds a day. This seems to be the only viable way to market my product and produced good results. Any suggestions on what or where to go? Here's my site: heavyhitch.com Thanks in adavance!

  • Were you generating traffic or sales? Big difference between the two. As for getting around the ghosting thing, I have heard getting a VPS is where you need to start. After that, the explanation is too technical for me (so I am not even going to try and explain what you do), but I heard it can work.
  • What is CL? Craigslist?
  • I promote on Craigslist. I have about 15 of the same ad running at any one time. Its the same ad but just different locations. I set up an account and then every few days I am allowed to "renew" my ad which drives it back to the top of the pile.

    Try starting again with Craigslist but create an account - take it slow and dont spam too much. Also make sure you are advertising in the correct place. People will flag you if they think you posted in the wrong section.

  • It's really becoming more difficult driving traffic with craigslist, but I've had some success with the forums.

  • The only way you can get around this is to stop spamming
  • Don't spam you will always be ghosted.try to post the same ad in diff city's Use good PVA ....

    • You have posted to many times on your ip. You need to be able to not only change your ip but it must be geo located to match your PVA.
      Meaning posting in Dallas TX requires a Dallas ip and a Dallas Phone number. I never do more than 2 post on an ip per day and try to write good content. I put links in all my ads and I don't get ghosted. Check out my signature.

  • Craigslist is a good place for getting good targeted traffic. But, you have to be careful before using that place. Do not do any spam there and also select the right category for your ads.
