First thoughts of my website

website: www.lucidmart.com

This site is going to be monetized by amazon and my ebook.

I am planning to get traffic through the search engines and also from my clickbank product. My product recommends my amazon site, and my amazon site recommends my product. It's a mini upsell.

For the people that don't buy from my clickbank page, if they opt in to lucidmart, I will advertise it through an autoresponder.

What still needs to be done:
- Set up Product for Clickbank (just need sales page)
- Design a Banner for my product
- Put up opt in box (I have a report to advertise)
- Reviews for books
- Get VA to write articles for the blog

I'm looking for constructive criticism to help improve the site.

Thanks,

Nathan

Looks like a good start. Maybe add some more things to the homepage to make it more interesting?

How about more content on the first page as well?

Description of what it is etc etc and photos to really fill it out.

Possibly put some of your products on the front page? People will click away if they don't see something interesting immediately.

Looks good, clean and simple. Only thing is to make the contact link on the same line as the rest of the navigation.

Yes, if you can do this then you definitely should, if not, then it's fine.

I think the contact link should be on the same level with the other links. Also, the pages looked kinda small. You might want to add some more content to make the pages look more full. Very clean look

Once the widgets are up on the right side, it should fill things up. I am also planning to add more content for the supplement and book page.

Looks like you've set forth a good amount of steps. Keep it organized and you'll do well. Right now the site is so new that it's hard to judge.

    I think it's good start.

I would suggest that you invest some $$$ on a better converting design. There are a lot of supplement websites online, and you should offer something special to get the sale. If you can put some graphics of products on the home page, or even a phone number or an email, that would help in conversions.

Maybe you can create a squeeze page? Then you can get your list and it'll benefits you for a long term.

    Tani,

Wow! Really an appreciable design simple and sleek! This design perfectly suits your category that is related to books as white color signifies professionalism. However I would suggest you to reduce the font size of the navigation and if possible then use the space on the right and left hand side effectively. May be you have kept those for advertisement, well if it is so then it is fine.

Your site is nice. In my opinion, the theme is perfect for what you are promoting.

I would work on the content. Look at other sites offering a similar product. I wouldn't do a squeeze page, but more of a sales page. The way your content reads now, it does not make me want to click on "Go to Supplements to discover the greatest tools for lucid dreaming."
