Making money on front end product?

I here a lot about how difficult it is to make money on a front end product and you should just hope to break even so you can market to them later.

What if you have a good idea for a product but you don't have any desire to market to that group after that? What ways do you suggest to try to profit off of that front end product?

    Hmmm if you're unknown and have no list to market to, you may want to try and JV with someone and then start to build your own list. Establish a list for after-purchase support at the very least, I'd say. Then if you ever feel differently about marketing more products, you'll have that list of people that trust you.

    I guess a lot would depend on the product, too.

    Have you thought of newspaper ads? If the product is right, you could do well with classifieds.
