How to test a paypal transaction without any money being charged

Hi Guys

Have you seen that you can now link paypal with aweber, so when they pay for your product, they get added to your list, awesome....

.....but, how can I test this is working, without having to pay for my own product???? Yes, I could create another button with 0 charge (I guess), but then that isn't really testing my actual pay button.

I'm sure with the $7 script, you could switch a test option on, but I don't know if you can in paypal.

Any ideas or good work arounds?

Cheers
Phil

You can use PayPal's Sandbox to test your payment
    process.

However, I prefer to test my process with a live $0.01
product fee to check that all the systems work.

Then when all the tests are passed, I update the price
    of the product accordingly.

I use my personal PayPal account to pay, and my business
PayPal account to receive the payment.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

      Hi Shaun

Thanks for your reply. So you can just ammend the price of the button, you don't have to create a new one from scratch. Ok, good idea about using the two separate accounts.

      Thanks again
