Just curious to know if you do any INTERNET MARKETING related stuff on your iPhone. Do you mind telling me WHAT kind of IM stuff you do if you do any at all with the iPhone?

Thanks,
Khemal

    Hi Khemal,

I dont use Iphone. I have a HTC touch phone which keeps my schedule of IM related work.

It has all the time and tasks to do such as contacting Jv partners to scheduling of email blast or ad swaps.

Without the diary, I would be confused and overwhelmed by too many things to do for the next 3 months.

    Cheers,
    John

I don't use it much for IM specific stuff, mainly just to read emails, calendaring, Facebook, and shopping lists!

It is a great productivity tool, that is for sure.

You can use the "Palringo" app to do things like MSN/Yahoo. Give it a look.

I always use my iphone, its great especially when im not at my desk.
But I got chunky fingers so sometimes its a pain in the ass to write a simple reply or email.

Thanks for all the replies If you were to PAY for a feature that's not there right now on it, what would that be?

Use mine for the email aspect mostly. I don't take full advantage of all the features on the phone like I thought I would!

The only ability I know for a fact hands down I would pay for for the iphone is the ability to copy/paste...right now you cannot copy/paste..which really sux.

I would also pay for a web browser that acts just like a full real web browser on a computer...the main thing that I would really like to do is be able to queue up messages in my aweber account (both text and html) but as it stands now a.) I cannot copy/paste and b.) safari doesn't display the html editor when you are composing a new message in aweber.

other awesome things I've found and use my iphone for:
-- voice broadcasts...i found an app that lets you create lists and send voice broadcasts...totally awesome..just used it today to announce my girlfriend's birthday to all our friends.

--twitter/facebook/myspace - found a bunch of cool apps that make these social networks a lot easier to use from the iphone.

                --email of course.

--I also like to use my iphone to login to my adtrackz and aweber account so i can check on my stats ie: new subs, traffic, conversion rates for different traffic sources.

--I like to use the google app (available in the app store) to find stuff that's near me like businesses, pizza, etc.

                Sincerely,
                --Corey

Sounds like you're really getting close to that goal Jason I've watched the iPhone and other mobile devices gradually change how business is done and it's an interesting market if you know how and when to get on it.

Thanks for all the comments so far!

I use my iphone for twitter, myspace and face book messaging but would like to use it for skype, msn and yahoo IM but haven't found a free app to do so. Only had my phone a short while though.

I also use it sometimes to check my private messages on some of the forums I use in case something urgent comes up.

The most useful messaging though I think is the email app although I haven't set up my ISP email on it as I couldn't get it to work nor my domain emails to I'm stuck with free like google etc on my iphone and the others still on my PC.

Hope you don't mind me telling you about more than just IM

Basically, I used iPhone to check my email and check latest product launch without having me to turn on my notebook.

Not to forget, the calendar with to-do-list helping me a lot!

I use mine for everything from getting directions to the train in Paris to finding the best Sushi rest. in New York. As for IM, email and tons and tons of text messaging.

In the entire year I have used my iPhone I haven't encountered a single instance where I had needed copy/paste but I'm sure it'll wind up happening.

        COPY That!

Sounds like the iPhone's actually letting IMers leave their computers and "live" a little...hehe..that sitting in one place and checking how much they made in the last 5 minutes

You're 10x better off with Asus EEE 901.

Iphone? I refuse to be a drone to Apple's marketing efforts to create a huge desire for it. :-)
