I am getting clicks but no sales any advices???

Hi all, I have created my first affiliate website and I got about till now about 50 clicks but not a sale yet, I am still new at the IM world so I don't know whether it's normal or bad. I know that it also depends on the price of the product, my product price is about $120

The CPA network that I have my campaign with it called optimal fusion, have anyone made sales with them? and are there CPA networks that can be scam?

Any suggestion why that I didn't make any sale yet would appreciate it

For cold traffic, the conversion rate at that point can be around 1%. So it's normal to see no sales with 50 clicks. Try to increase the clicks you get, than improve your pre-sell copy.

If that doesn't work, try switching the offer. Trial-and-success is the best way yo learn.

Hi Mostafa, is it the one in your sig-file? The page is all about something called "Insanity Workout" but when I click on any of the links (i.e. to buy it) it takes me to a totally unrelated page offering "magic mesh screen door" and a load of other, different products? Something's gone very wrong, there ...

The offer of my product is only available in US and Canada only, they have just made this modification recently, I know it sucks ,but most of my traffic comes from the US anyway. Do you recommend switching CPA network?

    Hi,

I've checked up your site and I have to say it looks good. You just have to keep up the hard work and increase the number of hits/clicks (on average is about 1,000.00 for a conversion/sale).

I wish you all the best in luck

The site (from your signature) looks pretty good! I agree with everyone else, you have to keep pushing for traffic. Most of Affiliate marketing is a numbers game. More traffic = more chance of conversions.

I would also offer 2 bits of advice:

      1) Make sure to pepper in some "calls to action" throughout your content. Things like this: "If you're ready to order, click here to begin." and make click here a link to your affiliate site.

      2) Make the images on your site link to your affiliate as well. So if someone clicks on one of the images, they go to the Affiliate site. With your affiliate, their landing page has content so even if they leave your site without reading everything, they have the marketing materials on the seller's site (beachbody). That's a huge plus because all you have to do is get them there and your work is done Even if they bookmark that page instead of yours and return later, the cookie should still be in their browser that credits you when they purchase. That might be too much techy babble, but hey...it's what I do

Good luck! I'd say just keep pushing traffic - I personally think you're off to a great start.

Where is the majority of your traffic coming from? It's important to have direct targeted traffic. You want health and workout traffic - not video game or sex traffic. With stronger traffic comes more sales per visitor.

Could you tell me more about how to build a list and how can I use it?

      Agreed.

Traditional "testimonials" are being eclipsed by facebook likes, retweets, G+ likes etc. These are the Web 2.0 social way of getting testimonials and give you (and your offer?) instant credibility to readers.

The first problem is that you don't get into what benefits your prospect will get by using this system soon enough.

And be more clear about the benefits.

        Example..
.a) The first part is 4 weeks, in which you do 6 cardio workouts per week.

        ADD:

        a) The first part is 4 weeks, in which you do 6 cardio workouts per week...So this will rev up your fat burning metabolism to lose weight quicker.

        c) The last 30 days follows the same schedule, but your workouts increase in both time and intensity.

        ADD:

        c) The last 30 days you follow the same schedule, but your workouts increase in both time and intensity... this will tighten and tone your body to get the results you want

        Best,

        Jeffels

I sit paid traffic or organic traffic?
You need to check the EPC of the product that you are selling, if it is paid traffic so you can have an idea on how much you can expect to spend before any conversion.

About your affiliate network, I have never heard of, but there are so many out there.
    Hope that help.

50 clicks arent enough to judge a marketing campaign by. At least 500 clicks would be necessary.

You may get 1 sale off of 10 hits, and then get another sale 300 hits from now. So a conclusive result can be made with at least 500 hits... certainly not 50.

  • Its too soon to tell as most of the time the conversion rate is around 0.5%-1% depending on your product.
If you are getting lots of clicks and hits but still no conversions then look at changing the monotization method.
Try testing and experimenting until you find what works best for the traffic you are getting.

As some people have said, you need to increase your traffic (assuming it's well targeted).

Ideally, you should get several hundred clicks while making the improvements suggested above by Bill in order to judge how effective your campaign is.

50 Clicks isn't a large enough sample. I'd see what happens after 1,000 clicks and go from there. At that point if it isn't converting id evaluate the offer itself as well as the price point. Good luck.

One of my websites is hitting over 1000 clicks but no sales, the traffic is good, the design is good and the products match the niche.

I have no idea what is going on with it.

      Hi wlasikiewicz,

A quick checklist that may help you

      1. Make sure that the right visitors are coming to your site. You can have an idea on it by analyzing the visitor’s demography, sources etc. Also check the browsers, whether they are real visitors or bots.

      2. Analyze how long they stay in the site. What are the exit pages. Try to make out whether they see your product details then exit, before that, in the process of ordering or at payment point. In this way you will be able to have an idea where the problem lies.

      3. If they exit before seeing your product details then are wrong visitors or your home page (or landing pages) text can't attract them. If not, try to set and track goals and leads. Try to keep contact options in the site. Say chat or easy access to a quick contact form. Track the sources of the leads.

      4. Most of all, check your site with different browser and make sure it looks proper in all cases.

      Thanks

        Ready?

        Go.

        Give me $120.

Actually, first give me your email, and then give me $120.

        No?

        Ok then. Bye.

        ----------------

Since I won't be holding my breathe for any $120 paypal transfers from you, let's break down what just happened and how you can use this same thought process on your own site.

Do you and I know each other?

        No.

Is that why you didn't give me your email and $120?

Partially. You also didn't give me any money because I wasn't really offering you anything that you wanted.

How did you feel after the exchange?

        Like I was a jerk?

Well, that is because I was a jerk.

And your visitor goes through this SAME EXACT process when you slap cold traffic onto a landing page.

If you want to increase your conversions you need to get your visitors to know, like and trust you AND offer them value in exchange for the things they value (their time, their money, space in their brain for you and your stuff).

You can do this with paid traffic, social media, direct mail, blogs, TV, radio it doesn't matter. The formula is still the same.

You are off to a great start - testing and running PPC. But you gotta have the structure in place to make it all happen.
Portlandrocks hit the nail on the head when he said you have to give them value.

In copywriting, it is said that 80% of your site's success (or lack of) is due to the lead... which is the headline, subhead, and opening paragraph.

Other pros say that the lead accounts for 90% of your success.

Your lead... says "Hey there - good to have you here!"

So.... you're putting 90% of your site's success in THAT?

No benefits, no compelling reason to stick around and read.

I do agree that 50 clicks is way too low to judge... I've had hugely profitable sites where I'd get a 1,000 clicks a day and no sales... yet the campaign over time was very profitable.

Your sample size is too low... but honestly, judging from the copy on the site... it's so bland and generic, you'll have trouble converting no matter how many clicks you get.

Keep it simple. Catch the visitor's attention with their biggest problem... and put that right in the headline.

then, give them some valuable content that actually helps them get where they want to be. Like Portlandrocks said... give value.

Become a trusted friend/mentor and not a sales person.

Presell them by acknowledging their problem, and showing them you have a solution.

Weave in plenty of proof... which I see some good proof elements on there like TV interviews, etc... and then give them a reason to click over right now.

Hint. show them how clicking over will help them solve their problem and help them get what they want.

Bland and generic just doesn't sell... you gotta prove to them that you understand their problems and that you have their solution... and then prove it.

do that and your conversions will increase.

Normally, with such payout in CPA network, it means you have to put in more effort to test out the right angle. I will suggest to set a budget (if you are using paid traffic) , once you burst it. Try another offer. Keep trying!

Like stated above 50 clicks is not enough to determine anything. Wait until you have gotten 300-400 clicks and if you have not made a sale by this point you might want to make some changes. Do you know where your traffic is coming from? It also depends on the type of traffic you are getting.
