I was just reading a site and they were talking about Super Affiliates, and this question came to mind.

This term is used for the likes of Ewen Chia and some of the other big boys that sell a lot of affiliate products, but how many sales would an affiliate need to make for a product, before they are considered a SUPER AFFILIATE.

Not really that important but would be interesting to see what other product owners think

50 sales 100 sales 500 sales ?

    Gaz,

I consider any affiliate that has sold one product of mine a Super Affiliate

My reasoning is because that sale would not have happened without the affiliate.

Nice one Diana I agree with you every affiliate is appreciated because all those 1, 5, 10, sales really adds up.

That's the nicest thing about affiliates I've come across in a long time.

I like you! You clearly know how to value your affiliate's effort, no matter what their results. So true that every sale counts.

I would say if you are making over 10K a month consistently it would consider as super affiliate...

I think anything over 1000+ sales would count.

Yet, 500+ or even 100+ sales is pretty good in their own right as well.

I recently went to one of Anthony Morrisson's "Get Rich Quick On The Internet" home business seminars. Part of their pitch was you get to use his "Super Affiliate" accounts. His Super Affiliate account would receive $3 on a CPA that normal people only get $1.75. His Super Affiliate account also had access to CPA offers that weren't available to other people.

Of course they said he had to sell in the millions to get a Super Affiliate account.

the term "super affiliate" is not given based on the amount of sales that are made, yes the end goal is sales but... it's more hitting markets outside of clickbank, and going deep into the markets and hitting the little sub markets that's the tem super affiliate but thats just my thoughts

      This can vary across niches.

In the travel niche, I have been offered 7% commission where others make 5% on a high-dollar item because I sell more than most. My highest commission in any one month on this item though has only been $1300.

I would agree with Birdie, it depends on the affiliate program and the amount of traffic and how you send it. Also how much you contribute to the program. I'm not a super affiliate by the way!

I think not in terms of money sense. But of course, if you're a super affiliate, that means you're earning a lot of money. What I think is that a super affiliate knows how to convert the traffic in any niches. When it converts, comes the sales. Just my thoughts.

So to round up, a definition of a super affiliate is:
Someone who makes lots of money.
Someone who can put their techniques to every niche
Someone who adds value to the affiliate program

I guess with that its obvious, its a marketing term to sound fancy and help the sales of the affiliate program!

Hmm, quite interesting. I made about 100 sales of a $100 product over a period of around 4 months, but I don't really consider myself to be a SUPER affiliate because of that.

I'd say a SUPER affiliate is someone making a full time income, and usually a hell of a lot of money by doing online marketing full time.

Being an the affiliate marketing niche for years now.
10k mark monthly most people consider being a super affiliate.

Now if you go underground with the CPA marketers they consider
50k, 70k, 80k monthly the super affiliate mark.

Those Underground CPA marketers are making 100k+ Weekly doing
affiliate marketing. So i guess it depends on who you are talking to
when asking what level is considered a Super Affiliate.

$30k/month gross minimum.. It's not really that much. 100k/month sounds more realistic
