Thoughts on Google Checkout and Checkout by Amazon?

Hi folks,

After reading all the super scary threads here about PayPal, I wanted to look into getting an alternative in place just in case (I don't do the get rich quick style things -- I do content writing and am in the process of expanding into site creation and seo). I signed up for a Google Checkout account but so far, in all the discussions about PayPal, I don't see anyone even mentioning using Google Checkout as a viable alternative. Is there a reason for this or do people just not think of it?

Edit: Also, I just found Payments by Amazon. They seem to offer a similar service to Google Checkout. Now they both do mention in their acceptable use policies that "get rich quick schemes" and other similar things are not acceptable. But how far does that extend and do I need to be concerned if I offer services like SEO or site creation?

Any advice appreciated.

No one really knows what they mean by that. The reason we know so much about how paypal thinks is because so many have pushed things to the edge with paypal. By pushing things, people found out where the cliff was.
