Boltweb hosting down?

Hey!

I've got a few sites with Bolt Web hosting and I noticed they were down today, in regards to a Database error. At first I thought my SQL Table had corrupted, but when I try to log into the site; I get a Database error too. I have no way of contacting Chris.

    My sites are down with Bolt Hosting. Anyone else having the same issue? Bolt Hosting website is down as well. The email I have for Chris does not work. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

      My are all down... been three days now and I'm getting a little pissy!

      I'm not a hundred percent sure that Chris is with Bolt anymore.

      I'm want to move my sites to my other host but because I didn't have the foresight to have current backups now I have to wait till they get their @#$% together before I can make the move.

      Your sites didn't have various outages earlier this month? So far this month my sites have been down for around 70 and a half hours to the hour right now. For a measly uptime of 77%.

    I have never heard about that host before, i am using Arvixe from the last 1 year and 100% satisfied with this service.

    Bolt Web Hosting has had horrible uptimes and customer service since Christian Little sold the company to Stephen Preissler around the end of May.

    My sites have now been down for over a week because they were suppose to be moving my VPS to a new server but can't seem to be able to configure the new VPS so that it works.

    Up till this Bolt was one of the best host I had been with in my 17 years of web design. Now they have become the worst. It is a real shame.

    I have been contacting bolt for 2 days about my web sites and they do not appear to be any help in getting them back up and running. They are not answering my ticket items, anyone else with this problem

      Chris sold the company some time ago and is no longer contactable as I used to deal with him also. I think the company was bought by bigdaddy.

        Yea, I used to have a bunch of sites hosted with them, but ever since Chris sold the company, the service has gone WAY downhill. I have since moved all of my sites to other hosting companies.

    It is never a good thing when hosting companies get sold. Make sure you are signing up with a company that has been around for a while and don't seem to be selling out.
