craigslist for quick seo?

Just curious, if anyone tried to get links from craigslist by doing any seo work on there. Even, like a basic link back to your site saying "hey, I can help desigining your website".

A bit off topic, but if anyone knows any craigslist posting service, feel free to list them or share your insights and experiences. I`m trying find some good ones.

    That website is full of spam. The backlinks you'll get will be nofollow so don't even waste your time.

      I did get a few visitors through Craigslist by posting about a free product I was offering on the small biz section, but not enough to make it worth my while repeating this on a regular basis. There are better ways.

      However, the forums are a great resource if you ever want to do some market research. I asked my target market about something they want via the forum and got lots of info, quickly and easily. I used my Twitter handle as my username so they can follow me up if they want...
