What to put on my email subscription form?

What's a good short statement to get good submissions to my email form? Right now i've got "Sign up for exclusive help". But that just seems too generic. I'm helping local companies with their websites,should I do anything specific?

I tried googling it, but I couldn't find anything relevant

    A potential subscriber might think "What does exclusive help mean?" You never want that in your subscribers mind.

    Instead try

    Sign up to discover how to increase traffic, leads and customers from your website"

    or

    "Double the leads and customers from your website using my 3 step simple system. Sign up below."

    You make it sound so easy Elmar! I'm impressed that you came up with that off the top of your head.

    Me? I can write funny, informative, entertaining posts all day long, but when it comes to writing any sort of ad, even as tiny as the ones you wrote, I am hopeless. Unfortunately, it is a requirement to be able to do it like you just did.

      Don't worry, when I first started I was so bad I couldn't even copy someone else's copy.

      It gets easier with experience. Get a swipe file of headlines and copy it by hand. You will get better trust me. Just do it as much as you canand then one day your just become good.

    Maybe something like:

    Sign Up Now And Discover How to Rake In More Profits Than Your Competitors!

      Really great advice here, 'Discover how to' seems to entice readers into subscribing.

      The best you can do is use this advice and keep a watchful eye on the numbers (how many visitors it takes to get "x" number of subscribers), then tweak until your rates are great.

    Uncover is another one, but one word not to use is "learn" people don't want to learn more stuff. They simply want a step by step plan...

    Offer something free in the ad. You are a website expert so something along the lines of "Free expert website review". If you are skilled, that should only take like 1 minute per lead to review and 5 minutes to reply. Nice opportunity to sell yourself in the hand written email.
