What is the best script for directory website?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi,

I want to build a directory website for offline businesses with the following features:

Each user has a page with the business details
I can charge every user on monthly basis
The website will mobile phone and smart phone friendly.

Directorypress is one of the better ones in my opinion . A quick Google search will help you find more though.

Its not free but this is ok,and the guy that runs it is a Warrior.

I don't believe it to be the software so much as what you do with it. If you accept any link or do massive reciprocal linking, you are inviting trouble. On the other hand there are people making thousands per month still in the industry. Here is my more extensive reply about the Google over optimization penalty. In most cases, people running a proper directory were not affected in the least.

I use PHPLD V4.21 on my 200+ web directory and love it. The script is pretty cheap ($30 Each scripts ) and has TONS of pre-optimized features (it even makes perfect google and yahoo sitemaps to be submitted!)
