Just an original ebook, and a sales description of it. After that, the Kindle team will review your product, and if it passes all checks... it will go live for sales. And depending on what you sell and your price, you can earn alot of money with it.

I've been publishing books for a few months now, and one thing I've learned is to promote your book outside of kindle.

If you have a list in the respective niche, use it.

    Thank you Giant Squid!

You do realize what Kindle is, right?

So, um, you need an ebook...

Perhaps some some specific questions would help people know what the heck it is you want to know.

    Sorry to be blunt.

You need to have a book with excellent content that is formatted well and then a marketing strategy to help you sell as many books as possible.

If possible, having a few books in the same genre or sold to the same types of people will help you get more sales quicker than just having one book.

Bottom line is to make sure your book is interesting and full of great content and information.

I have books that are 2000-3000 words and people don't mind. Pages work a little different on Kindle so don't focus on pages.

The big thing is you need to make sure it is formatted properly and you need a good cover.

Tony, you should start reading AMAZON KINDLE PUBLISHING GUIDELINES - How to make books available for the Kindle platform - by Amazon, link here
    http://kindlegen.s3.amazonaws.com/Am...Guidelines.pdf

After that, download a Free Kindle Reading App (PC, Mac, iPad, etc) and download from Amazon a few free Kindle books about kindle publishing and about publishing on Amazon's CreateSpace. Link here for Free Kindle Reading Apps from Amazon
    Amazon.com: Free Kindle Reading Apps

There is a good software, KINDLE WRITER, for publishing on Kindle, Nook, etc. Without it is hard to format your book, time consuming. KINDLE WRITER is having a word processor too, you can write directly on it, no need for MS Office, Open Space, etc., fast format and publishing, please see for yourself, I don't give you a link because I don't want be suspected I'm an affiliate, I'm not, just using it. They provide a free KINDLE COVER MAKER, you have all tools you need. Without cover, a Kindle book has lower value and is difficult to sale.

YOU MUST HAVE ORIGINAL CONTENT, no PLRs, no spinner software for PLRs.

After your book is up on Amazon, ask all people you know (not from the same city) to publish a 4-5 stars review (most 5 stars), one person every few weeks. If you have several 5 stars, Amazon will place you on the first page of Kindle books on your niche. Be prepared by asking your friends to sign now for free with Amazon and post a few reviews for books and kindle books on your niche, because posting for the first time about your book will create suspicions.

You have to advertise your book too, I assume you know how to advertise a book, if not PM me your email.

    Success with your project.
