Do you know something about Pinterest followers?

Hello, warriors

Recently we got several e-mails from our customers asking us about Pinterest followers... it's a shame to admit but I have not heard much about this social network. I've heard that Pinterest is as big as twitter now... Is that true? Does this social network have potential and do we need to add services connecting with Pinterest? What do you think?

    Pinterest is growing for sure....as big as twitter, not even close....yet anyway.

    It is mostly personal and I find people on pinterest don't want anything that even looks commercial. But I have seen some retail stores doing some really clever stuff lately.

    I think that if your clients are selling goods that you can take pictures of without any pricing or looking commercial and post them on their website and then pin them to their boards and just look informative and not commercial, it could help them.

    However, I would say, time spent on a facebook fan page or twitter would still be more effective at this time.

    The majority of members are women and they like "pretty stuff." lol
    It's not your typical social network. It's a visual social network, where you pin photos and others repin them if they like them. If they really like your pins, they'll either follow you or one of your pin boards.
