How Big is Your IM Dream?

My dream is to earn at least $100/day online, I hope that's not consider too big :p

My mentor earns about $800,000 monthly (been building his empire for quite some time) so that's my goal.

My vision is not measured in money. But, when it happens, money won't be an issue.

My dream for now, is about 45.000-60.000$ a month. I'm using only one MLM site called SFI. So that's 45-60 grand a residual on other peoples work. Right now I'm doing 3-5$ a month. (Geez..) so there's a long way. Still in the learning process and I have chosen to not bother with email marketing. "But the money is in the list" Sure, but I got another list - it's still a list.

Enough to look after my family, anything else is a bonus

$100,000 - $500,000 a month

My ultimate dream with IM is to be doing well enough to live life the exact way I want to without any financial pressures in the background... For me this means buying a house with cash, having a few cars that I bought cash (I love cars), and being able to work as much or as little as I like on a daily basis.

This probably works out to be about $500K per year, which is just over $1K per day.

Freedom is the ultimate dream though, money is the way to get there.

...Aside from my little injection of Dr. Evil there, my IM goals revolve around consistency....

Because I'm also a Soldier, serving in Kuwait, i have very little time right now to work on anything IM related. It's not an excuse...with my mission here, it's just the way it is and has to be until I get home.

I've earned the span of everything from $5/day to several $100 a day....I have outliers both ways. My ultimate goal is to CONSISTENTLY earn $100/day. I'd define "consistent", in relation to that goal, as a month strait of $100/day earnings.

1000$ per day before end of this year,but currently im making only 5$ per day

I don't set a dollar amount on my dream - never have. I might have a specific "thing" I need paid, like "$36,000 tuition by April 15th" or whatever, but I don't make a daily number just for goal purposes.

I just do my best and analyze it at the end of the year and see what I did that increased sales.

my site is only a couple of months old but I want to own my niche! thats my goal to be as big as amazon... but just in my niche!

Money wise I'm aiming at $500 a day but so far i have no traffic so little way to go yet :-)

I do have a very short term goal at the moment though and that is to find myself a good honest mentor! And i think i have too!

A goal is just a dream with a deadline. One of my goals is to help 100 struggling entrepreneurs free themselves from the 99% crowd. Execution in progress. First milestone set for Oct 14, 2012.

I have a pretty humble dream. First I want to get to $100 a day, and then to the 6 figure a year mark. I don't need a mansion or fancy cars, just enough to live comfortably and do some traveling.

That happens to be my position also, exactly.

I have a lifestyle ambition, so I need whatever sum it takes to achieve it!

As far as my mine is concern my IM dream is as big as what my mind is capable of doing. For me as an internet marketer you should have a wide goal and willing to take any kind of road in going there. The catch is, I never put limits on everything I do.

Vision is probably the single most important thing for a
business - yet is often pushed to the back-burner, while
less important stuff gets mindshare.

I've been listening recently to Jay Abraham's "Mastermind
Marketing" course, and he talks about goals in the end.

One bit caught my attention. It was the emphasis upon
identifying your unique WHY - and defining it CLEARLY.

If you set making $X a month/year as your only goal, then
when you realize the route to making it happen isn't quite
what you enjoy or want to do at all, there could be a
serious disconnect... which takes away from the enjoyment
and satisfaction you get from "success".

Paul Myers' lovely ebook on Goal Setting first made me
think hard with one quote about "wanting to be a millionaire".
He said (or words to that effect), "If your dream is to relax
on the beach, you don't need a million bucks in the bank. You
need a car to ride to it, and a map to show you where the
beach is!"

Too often, we over-emphasize the cost of an end-result - and
that sidetracks us from achieving what we REALLY want.

Worth taking time over the next few days (if you haven't
already) to ask WHY - not superficially, but really deep
inside - WHY you are doing this... and what you want from
it all.

Define. Visualize. Believe.

Plan. Act. Achieve.

My own IM dream is VERY big - and involves touching hundreds
of little lives.

Yes, it needs money. And a lot more, too.

What do you call 'realistic'? There is no such thing in IM. I believe the amount you can make is no limit according to your very own beliefs. You in fact limit yourself. If you can reprogram your beliefs, you will reprogram your income. For me there is no glass ceiling. #BeMighty

Actually, I think my dream is pretty big.

I want to earn at least $10k per month on Adsense.
I want to earn at least $10k per month on selling digital products as an affiliate.
I want to earn at least $10k per month on CPA.

As a 17 year old, $100 a day is very handsome residual income.

My dream is to put most my profits in starting a business that would help the less fortunate in developing countries. Most likely through micro finance
and help provide them in the process with the most common human basic needs like, food, clean water, shelter and education.

In 1985, I set out ten goals extending fifty years into the future.

Everyone laughed.

Basically, I said that by the end of 1990, I would have a salaried job being paid annually instead of hourly. And it proceeded from there.

1990 - Salaried job
1995 - $25k/year
2000 - $50k/year
2005 - $100k/year
2010 - $250k/year
2015 - $250k/year passive
2020 - $1 MM net worth
2025 - $1 MM cash
2030 - $5 MM cash
2035 - $10 MM cash

Halfway through this process, I've hit four of the five goals I set. Granted, I was a few months late on a couple of them, but the only one I flat-out missed was the one where I would make $250k by the end of 2010.

I have not altered my plans appreciably. I have simply shifted my focus to concentrate on the passive aspect. My 2025-2035 goals have shifted a couple times... originally they were net worth of 1, 2, 5, and 10 million... but it still ends up $10 million in 2035. It's just that now I'm targeting cash, not net worth, because in 1994 my parents had a "net worth" of about $2 million when they declared bankruptcy. (Net worth is not money. Cash is money. The goal is money.)

I evaluate my progress every year, starting around September (specifically Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year). I determine whether what I'm doing is going to get me where I want to go, and if I conclude that it's not likely (around Yom Kippur), I construct a new plan that will get me where I want to go. Then I implement that plan.

Each of those processes takes about a month, so in general I'll spend October planning and November implementing. The idea is to finish the preparation right around Chanukah. This gives me December through August - nine months - to execute the new plan and gather data on how well it works.

Notice the lack of anything about how. Right now, the plan for $250k passive is "membership sites." Do you think I would have written "membership sites" on my plan in 1985?

Now, here's the real kicker.

Everyone is still laughing.

When I said I was going to have a full time salaried job in 1990, everyone laughed. "Doing what?" they said. I didn't know. They handwaved it and told me there was no way in hell I'd get a full-time salaried job before I was 20. But I did - I joined the Air Force. And then I realised it wasn't going to get me where I wanted, so I left.

When I said I was going to make $25k in salary before 1995, everyone laughed. "Doing what?" they said. I didn't know. They handwaved it and said there was no way in hell I could make $25k without a four-year college degree in something useful, and all I had was a two-year degree in Occult Science. But I also had a security clearance, thanks to my time in the Air Force, and I lived in the D.C. area which made it pretty simple for me to turn basic computer skills into a job installing network and communication lines around secure facilities.

They laughed at $50k before 2000. "Doing what?" - well, as it turned out, writing software for lawyers and banks. They laughed at $100k before 2005. "Doing what?" - designing and building SCM solutions for local businesses. And they laughed at $250k before 2010. "Doing what?" - well, the plan was to become a full-time project manager at Microsoft.

But in 2008, it became reasonably clear that I wasn't going to make that goal. Instead, I was stuck as an assistant project manager in the QA division, making only $180k. And since I honestly didn't think I was going to get a 40% raise in two years, I walked away from that in 2009 to do the IM thing.

Everyone in my life rallied to stop me, and force me back into a salaried job in corporate America which they understood. The drama around this has basically prevented me from accomplishing much of anything in the past three years. Most of them have left, and those who can't leave - my blood relatives - are basically not speaking to me.

When they do speak to me, if I happen to tell them what I'm planning or what I'm doing, they laugh. They tell me it will never work. Most recently, my father told me I couldn't make the kind of money I was planning because I'm not attractive enough and people don't like me.

It doesn't matter how big your dream is. I dealt with the same basic opposition when all I wanted was a job. When the income I was after amounted to $2k a month. And as your goals get bigger, the criticism and the outright nastiness will only get worse.

Which is one of the major reasons rich people don't hang out with "normal" people. Because on the way there, you'll rapidly discover that the only people who will ever give a crap about you or your goals are the people with similar goals.

And once you get there - once you've got a six or seven or eight figure income - you'll discover just as rapidly how much everyone's tune changes when they think they can get something from you.

Which will just flat-out make you sick, and you'll want nothing more to do with them.

I've been losing friends for a dozen years now. There's basically nobody left. The only people I could conceivably call "friends" today are people I've met on forums like this one.

Some of those are starting to get nasty because they expected to ride my coattails to success, and I'm not moving fast enough for their taste. They want me to give up the "pipe dream" of running $200 a month membership sites, $500 annual live seminars, and $2k products in a box that goes "thud" on your doorstep.

They just want me to release $10 WSOs with 100% commission, so they can make money from me.

Meanwhile, I release $20 products at 50% commission, and they turn up their noses at the same damn $10 commission because it's more than $10 and less than 100% and it's not a WSO, so they're not going to mail for it. Because that's a pipe dream, too.

Never let people tell you what can't be done.

Ignore the people laughing at you. They'll laugh until you succeed, and then they'll just find something else to laugh at. Screw them. Screw them right in the ear.

Just go out there and do it. Find something likely to get you closer to where you're trying to go, and go do it. Then just keep doing it until you get somewhere, and look at whether you're closer to where you're going. If so, do it again. If not, try something else.

Probably, to begin, $100 a month. I started my blog around a week ago, so right now I am focusing on building traffic, not making money. Once I reach around 25-50 unique visitors a day CONSISTENTLY, I will set up a squeeze page for the Easy Cash Webinar product Alex Jeffreys provides his students (I am a Marketing With Alex student) and will work on my own traffic product and/or blogging product.

But, now, my focus is on driving traffic. My first roadmark I want to hit is at least $100 a month and then build a lot from there to $100 per day. But right now, my goal is 25-50 unique visitors per day.

My dream goes outside of IM. IM is just part of it.

How big is my IM dream? Well, it fits in a USPS flat rate box. It makes shipping very affordable. :p

In all seriousness, $300 per day by the end of the year is my goal. IM is not the end goal for me professionally; but has been a fun and lucrative way to go through college and build a nest egg for the future.

My IM dream has no income cap. There is always an upsale .. always.

My partner and I have set a goal for 250,000 list members in the IM Field, by The second quarter of 2013. WE have a goal of $100,000 a month by 1-1-2013 with 1\3 being invested back each month into building the list, improving the site, and all the other expenses related to online business.

That percentage will be adjusted by our accountant as the year goes on for the fact we would rather spend money on traffic and building the business as to fund our respective governments. No matter what we do they will get plenty anyway.

Here's my dream, and I pray to God that it'll happen, but WHEN (not if, as if already indicates failure) it happens, my dream would be:

- Making minimum $400 a week from my hip hop beats
- Making minimum $400 a week from my producer soundkits site
- Making minimum $400 a week from each of my ebook sites (2 currently)
- Making minimum $400 a week from affiliate marketing
- Making minimum $100 a week from Google Adsense (I'm roughly at 100 a month now)
- Making minimum $400 a week from other miscellaneous blog sites and such I have

That roughly equates to $2100 a week. Of course, I'd prefer to make more but it'd be nice to see that I can reach all of those goals above to where I'm making the above minimum every single week.

My dream would ultimately be to make enough money that I can rely on my work as my career. A big part of this dream and wanting it to come to reality is for my goals, which are:

- Put some money in savings for our son's future
- Take the burden off of my wife due to my unemployment at this time and let her take time off of work instead, knowing comfortably that I am making great money to which she can do so with no worries.
- Give my mom and dad some money each week or month to help them with their struggles and finances (they do so much for us, I would love to be able to give back)
- Send my grandmother money to move down here in her remaining years.
- Help my siblings
- Donate money to a children's fund that helps children struggling with disease or cancer or other things.
- Donate to a homeless shelter, even if it happens to be in the form of a large chunk of food donations
- Put some in savings
- Spend some for me
- Reinvest to rinse and repeat and increase the process above.

There's more I'd like to do, and WHEN I reach those minimum goals above, I'd love to be able to help more. I am beyond thankful to God for just the point that I have made so far, with the talents I've been blessed with, the resources such as this site and you all that I've learned more things from, and so much more, even if I'm only scratching the surface after some years with a couple hundred a month or so. Prayers and hard work have gotten me this far so far... so I am trying my hardest and praying I get to my goals so I can definitely pay it forward.

Here's to all of your dreams.. may they become reality... and for those of you that are living your dream now, please take a moment to reflect on where you were, what you do now, and pay it forward to someone, whether your parent, friend, or the stranger down the street that may be looking for a bite to eat. And may 2012 bring your revenues and incomes to increase at least 2x or 3x the amounts you've made from 2011 coming into 2012!

Hmmm lets see, I would like to create a whole site with a new idea "I guess everybody has this dream lol" where it becomes famous and people come to my site cuze they know it, not because I do SEO or Article marketing.. ppc ..etc..

Now my sites depend on Google which is not good at all, I don't want to be an affiliate for other companies or create a product for a specific type of people..

Define realistic? I don't there should be a realistic goal. My own personal dream is to make over 100 million in internet businesses.

Massive million dollar launches, and physical products such as cd's and books.

My current goal is.... $150 a day with perhaps 3-4 hours of work a day.
I am a break it down into smaller pieces type of girl.

I think having a reason is by far the most important element if your reason is strong enough and compelling to you. If your reason is so compelling that it drives you to focus your determinations day in and day out then you have a real motive.

The universe has a way of stepping aside for the determined mind.
