the problem of overthinking

I´m clearly still a newbie. But my main problem is the problem of overthinking.

`should I create a blog`, `what should my blog be about`, `should I pick a niche` `which niche is good enough``what has the domain name to be`.

Its like I just try to make almost guaranteed I will succeed, but I just can´t know for sure. Until now I keep over thinking.

Where do newbies start? Just make something?

In my own opinion, you are suffering from information overload.

    What you should do is:

    1. Pick up a pen and paper

    2. Scribble down everything you can do and you are good at that you can implement to make money online rightaway.

    3. Then implement it....Start rightaway...the only way to stop thinking is to start doing.

    As a guide:

    a. Find a profitable niche

    b. Buy a domain name in that niche

    c. Create a blog in that niche

    d. Rank it for SEO

    e. Promote affiliate offers.

If you are not good with SEO, create a squeeze page instead and then use solo ads to build a list...and then you can promote affiliate offers.

Trust me...that is all you need......stop over analyzing....too much analysis is paralysis.

I completely understand. I had information paralysis for probably 6 (maybe 9) months before I ever got going.

My solution was to take absolutely everything I new and put it into a mindmap(s). I took all of the materials/course that I had collected and cherry-picked the info that I liked and used it fill in the gaps in my mind maps and deleted the courses/materials so I didn't feel compelled to obsess over them again. - It's all about distilling the information.

The potential problem with this is that you will still end up with a whole lot of info, but in a mind map it should organized in a way that it becomes more actionable. The key is not looking at the mind map and feeling overwhelmed. You made the map, you know what to do, just put your head down and get started.

My three favorite quotes related to this are:

"Remember, every mistake is a learning opportunity" - don't remember where I heard it
"imperfect action is always better than no action" - also don't remember who said it
"confidence is going after moby dick in a row boat and taking the tartar sauce with you!" Zig Ziglar

Simplify everything by thinking with this:

    Traffic + Conversion = Sales

You will need a website to drive traffic to. You will need to build trust to get conversions. Building trust comes from delivering value over and over. Set up a website, drive traffic to it. Tweak the website until you convert consistently and then focus on scaling up your traffic and increasing your traffic.

Build a list in the process so you can build long term relationships with your target audience. It will help you build more trust which will help you gain more sales.

I know what you mean, everyone gets this every once in awhile. What I do when I'm overfilled with info and unclear with direction is I take 3 deep breathes, clear my mind to a blank state, and site somewhere quiet and serene.

Gather your thoughts, what are you good at doing? What things do you enjoy most? If you love to do it you'd love to write about it. You'll get back in tune with yourself and be able to start with a fresh mind from there.

Just a thought, I do it all the time. Hope that helps you!
