Looking for software that Automates certain Linkedin Tasks

There are a lot of Software programs out there that automatically find and post to groups on Linkedin, and also find and message people related to certain keywords, but I'm looking for a program that will simply accept and follow up with new connection requests with a prebuilt message, and automatically insert their name in the subject field and at the beginning of each message.

Does anyone know of a program that will do this?

Correct, with a pre-defined message, and custom field capacity available that pulls their first name and inserts it into the subject and at the beginning of the message, to give it a personal feel.

      Any ideas?

Dont know of any programs off the top of my head, but saw their api should be able to handle this. I saw a rest api call that allows you to query for any new connections, then being able to get that persons profile via the api just grab their name and use the api to send the message. Seems doable, but again dont see any programs that already do it.

I know nothing about coding, but you seem like you do. How difficult do you think it would be to put something together that would do what I'm talking about?

If your asking me to do it, then I would decline. To busy to do anything at the moment, however you could go to odesk or something along those lines and see if you can get a quote on what it would take.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Think there is already a solution out there readily available?

I highly suggest using Odesk for this task...expect to pay something like $50 for something like this. I've done this before w/ a different social network

You should now be able to do this with Zapier and a LinkedIn Zap (automated task).

Alternatively I have used a Zap that goes to a VA who then customises the message for a personal feel depending on things such as: City and Profession

      Cheers,
      David
