In a private sale by the Seller, John van den, RT.TV, a top level domain was given out for an impressive $62,500 topping the list of all domain extensions sold this week.
The domain was bought by a non-profit organization, TV-Novosti, based in Moscow, Russia, that operates the RussiaToday.com website.
To many, .TV extension is widely used globally as an extension for video rich websites. But the truth is that it is a country top level code for Tuvalu.
Another very interesting sales this week is the sale of SecondCareer.com. It changed hands originally in May 2006 for just $2,000 and was resold this week for a good ROI at $15,000 through Afternic.
