Policy Question on Warrior Forum Sales Threads

To all my moderators and experienced Warriors, can a Warrior have a Warrior for hire thread, offer a service for a few months then slightly modify the service's sales pitch/letter then continue to generate sales from that thread...is that allowed? Or would you need to post a completely new sales thread?

For example - I noticed one WSO that was selling links and a few weeks later they changed the sales letter yet continued on with marketing the thread and getting sales.

    Yes, that is acceptable.

The person who purchased that page to advertise their offerings can change it as they see fit to do.

Yet, most sellers would not completely change the offer, leaving in place testimonials that apply to a previous product or service. That is something that could be perceived as deceptive, and could result in the thread being deleted.

If you feel that this is what the seller has done, hit the report button and share your concerns with the moderators. They will take a look at the thread to see if the seller went too far with his/her changes, and will take action as necessary.

Depends. If they have a lot of testimonials or discussion of the original and there's any significant difference, they might be required to start a new thread.

It's really a question of, "Will this change create confusion on the prospect's part?"

      Dang Paul,

I didn't know that was against policy. My sales threads always cause confusion. I used to pay Bev Clement just to straighten out the mess for me. Man, I miss her.
