I work bloody hard during the working week and that suits me - I thoroughly enjoy what I do - I'm a typical "my hobby is also my job" person.

At the weekend I usually have some time to myself because the kids have stuff on - birthday parties etc.

Rather than using the spare time that I have to do more of the tasks that I work on during the week, I spend it on stuff that I really enjoy, but which is beneficial to my business - looking into products or services I need, researching software development issues - stuff that is actually very important but gets pushed to the side during the working week.

It means that when I start back on Monday, I'm refreshed from the break but also armed with new tools and knowledge to help in building better products and offering better service for them.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this, because it works for me.
