The only way I have ever used Fiverr to drive traffic was actually as a seller.

I sold an ebook and in the ebook there was an affiliate link, people already seen I was offering great value-a 37 page ebook for only $5. So something around 28% of the buyers actually bought the affiliate product as well. I actually made like $600 in a month doing that and then it kinda' died out.

If you buy traffic for $5 at Fiverr, you are probably going to get traffic that is worth $5. Search the forums here that are a few case studies on Fiverr where there are some links to good Gigs for building SEO.

Just a little user insight here. I haven't purchased Facebook ads, but I do click on them. Whereas I've become somewhat immune to Google ads and very rarely click on them, Facebook ads are often interesting and relevant to my interests. I'd definitely give that a go. It's really the only place that I look at the ads. Perhaps some other Warriors could give you some insight on what kind of ads catch their attention.

As a source of cheap outsourcing you can't beat Fiverr, but I would be suspect of any new traffic being bought there. The sellers profit margins are already so low that I'm having a hard time figuring out how they would deliver quality traffic.

Facebook Ads though could be an excellent way to drive traffic, and you can target it so its the kind of traffic you're looking for.

I think the thing to remember is that not all traffic is good traffic. You want good quality leads. I'm not saying that Fiverr users would not deliver good quality leads but I have not had any success personally when buying traffic.

I'll take 10 organic, highly targeted visitors over 10,000 junky visitors from Fiverr type traffic every single time.

It's not always about the numbers. Which is why I'm surprised so many people avoid low traffic searches. I've I've got 50 people a month coming to one of my pages after searching for "most popular kitchen knife set," there's a good chance that a lot of them will convert if presented with a small list of popular knife sets + videos from YouTube, Amazon review snippets, etc.
