My website- how to get traffic?

Do you have any suggestions on how to increase customers to my website? Google Adclicks?

There are a lot of services that will supposedly provide advertising directing people to a site but I'm curious as to the effectiveness of that approach.

    How do you think your customers will feel if they find out that you call them "traffic?"

    Publicity and advertising is your answer. Get out the press releases. Get your advertising campaigns started.

    And stop referring to customers as "traffic."

    If you can make the stands in volume you should contact big stores like Amazon. Also consider affiliate networks to drive traffic through your site.

    You'll notice that in the last sentence of my post it reads, "directing people to a site".
    I wasn't referring to customers as "traffic".

    The word "traffic" as I used the word implied all manner of internet contact with my site. It's obvious that I'm looking for more customers but I want the various web search devices to look at my site too. I've tried Google "add the url" stuff but you have to sign up with Google.

    And since you're interested in correct language have you ever referred to a several men and women in a group as "guys"?
