What's your experience with Amazon? How about eBay or Etsy?

Etsy might be a good option for you, but they won't have the same traffic as Amazon. I would suggest setting up pages with both, and seeing which one is going to give you more sales. Also you have to a pay a listing fee with Etsy, but it's pretty small if your only listing one item.

Thank you for the ideas. My eBook Ring is for sale on Etsy right now. It's also on eBay.

I like the format and look of Etsy's website. Well, I guess I'll start selling on Amazon too.

The key seems to be selling in volume which will reduce the apparent cost of any fees.

      Thanks again.

I sell on Amazon 10 times more than I do on ebay. Amazon is just so simple and I feel the commission they take out is very fair. Plus their prices are unbeatable.

Amazon in many cases is worth the commission fee. Just think of it as a marketing fee as you are getting your product in front of a very large number of people. Also, Ebay's fees are just as bad if not worse, so if you are selling there, you may want to give Amazon a try as well.

Ebay fees are typically 10% of final value
If they pay with paypal you lose a bit more here as well to receive funds

Amazon can be good, i personally have not sold anything on there though. I did try ebay but i didn't manage to sell a single item. Might be worth making a promotional style website and doing some basic SEO to market it. Might be a task to try as it can be done with very limited funds

eBay is a very good platform to start-up on. Especially because of it's large customer base. Selling is easy on eBay, you don't need to complete many tasks which you'd have to complete on Amazon. Amazon is much stricter with their policies compared to eBay. But eBay is catching up too. If you have a legit product. eBay is the platform for you to expand.

Amazon is a fantastic place to do business. The first real consistent money I've made online is by buying stuff on clearance locally and reselling at amazon. The only thing that you have to be absolutely sure about is your pricing. Because amazon lists all of the same products together you can only really compete on price. Feedback and shipping may play a role for a few buyers but most people will just press the buy button for the cheapest seller.
