Drop Shipping Help

Hello there

I hope is the right place for my questions. I am looking to help my wife to expand her business in drop shipping and i need some help how and what exactly i need. Actually she sell Baby Clothes and she do really well but i'm looking to create a web shop and if is possible to automate everything with drop shipping.

So what shopping cart software do you recommend that will work with drop shipping and with what drop shipping vendors works (if i can say like that) ?

Also any drop shipping vendors for baby clothes, electronics etc. that will work internationally?
I will really appreciate your info.

      I know about these shopping cart but i never use them also i have no idea to much about drop shipping and that's why i opened this thread and maybe i get some help.

    Another way is to find the clothes you want to sell and then contact the manufacturer or supplier and ask if they will dropship for you. It's important that you understand their shipping policies so you can let your buyers know what to expect. It's a good idea before you set it up, to actually place an order with them to test the process.

    Baby clothes? Man as you can see in H&M showrooms in Sweden all the clothes are made or imported from India or Bangladesh Just contact some of the Clothing Industries in Bangladesh Pay them only when your Goods are in your land.I have seen Many Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi people selling clothes in stockholm

      It's a horrible platform for SEO. Some of the best advice you can actually reieve is from StoreCoach.com there have been discussions recently about young / baby clothing on www.DropshippingForum.co.uk

        I come from a Ecommerce background and I would suggest OScommerce plugin for WordPress at Free Ecommerce Plugin for WordPress : WP Shopping Carts : Online WordPress Store

        Now there are several reason why I suggest this

        1, It is PHP. Which combined with Linux hosting is faster than ASP, ASP.net as well more SEO friendly.

        2. It is a better foundation for todays ecommerce. With the saturation of big time etailers, this will give you an edge do to the fact with plugins you can easily add social networking, rss feed directories, article sites to a network where a hard coded platform cannot do without expensive modding.

        Setting up the site is the easy part. The hardest task you will probably face is building your catalog. Hopefully you get marketing material from your distributors. If you do, that is great, if not, be prepared to put in some long hours.
        Another thought. If you are supplied with product short and long descriptions, be sure to spin these and not forget standard SEO, meta names, heading tags, anchor links and keyword density. Most online stores do not do this to this extent. It will give you yet another edge.

        I agree Volusion is shocking! I had a trial and decided I didn't like it then got the constant pushy sales people pretty much begging me to sign up to their incredibly expensive prices!

        If you are looking for a good Free Platform which is easy to update thwn Zen Cart is probably the best out there.
