How Do Sites With No Content Get #1 Spot?

I was typing keywords in the search box in order to see how others are formatting their sites and clicked on the first result. The site had no content.

How did they get the number one spot?

You need to use BB code, not html tags. So [url = yoursiteurl] Anchor Text [/url].

    Rondo:

Can you give a link to that site so I can look at it but here is some food for thought, but what i want is not just the link but the actual copy of the 1st position listing on google I want to see the whole listing and the keyword you typed into google.

Was this an article submission with a link to his site, what was it :>( Although I would not personally really about this and worry more about the following, although you have the last word on what you do with this information I am providing.

Here is some food for thought:

I would concern myself more with how you can do the same but with doing seo, quality keyword focused pages and content, since his page for whatever reason it is showing up in 1st page will only probably get 1st position for a few keywords at best and you come behind him or her and can dominate the real estate with maybe 4-6 positions on the 1st page for more then one keyword phrase.

The site may be a blog, a video, squidoo page not sure but these sometime can get very high positions, but can never compare with a site that has great keyword focused pages.

    Question:

What do you prefer to get just the 1st position on 1st page of serp's of google, or your website over taking his or hers with more then just 1 listing on 1st page.

    example:

His or her site: 1st position one listing only on 1st page of google

Your site: You control the real estate on 1st page of google where out of the 10 positions on the 1st page of google you get at least 3-5 pages of your site to show up on that 1st page of google. Now who would have more chances of getting more visitors and sales you or him(she)?

Focus on learning how to be able to show up high on google 1st page if possible or within the 1st 3 pages.

Check out stats below google controls the market with the most users using their search engine to find information, focus on how to do seo and learn how to dominate the google 1st page real estate now you are cooking and dangerous...lol

Google with an impressive 61% over half of the nets traffic, yahoo with 20%, microsoft 9%, ask 4%...( focus on google and how to get on 1st position with content vs no content...period.

    Question:

What would you prefer a building with one door entry into the store or a building with many different doors for people to come into the store through many different doors on the 1st page of google?

Confused with this concept get back to me...:-)

What are you trying to get done or do?

OnPointInfo: The keyword was Natural Yeast Infection Cure and I searched Yahoo, not Google.

I'm trying to set up my first affiliate campaign with a Clickbank product and have been playing around with different keywords just to see what people are searching for.
