Adsense should be the last thing to do, not so good for income in 2012.

Better affiliate marketing using Clicbank, Amazom, CJ...
Do your home work and be sure you will promote the wright products, you can make decent money.
After you get some experience in IM should move to something making more money and offering you enouhg income to quit your job.

For now, you can look into flipping domain names and web sites too, or building and selling web sites. Flipping can start making money in a very short time, even in a few days.

Why is Adsense not to be used in 2012? I haven't seen a drop?

If you were involved in Adsense a few years ago, you will be able to compare the results and will see why. Adsense are not offering a good income.

I have a question for you: when a beginner ask how to make $5oo a week (=$26,000 a year), how many web pages with adsense he needs and how much work will be involved to promote them?

My idea was to tell a better alternative for a beginner in the learning curve.
After that, he can move on and also have his own products.

Why don't you teach yourself how to create information products and start getting them up on the WSO forum... look for the things that people are "looking for", then look for a GOOD WAY to package it up and sell it (report / video / audio).

Even at just $10 ea it would only take 56 sales to crack the $500/wk mark (that's allowing for WSO and Warrior + fees).

Chances are you WON'T do it on the first crack, but start, build up a following and you WILL get there.

      Paul Barrs

PS. Keep in mind that any affiliate sales are HALF profit to you; so if people say "just get yourself affiliates blah blah blah", then you'll have to target 100+ sales.... not 50.

Yes Paul, you are absolutely right, but having your own product and selling it - on your web, Clickbank, WF, on Amazon kindle if is an ebook, creating affiliates, etc - is difficult for a person just starting in IM. As you know, it takes time. The solution of outsourcing will cost him some money and using PLRs is not a great idea, many people had their accounts closed by Amazon and soon Clickbank will do the same under pressure from FTC, also will have their webs banned by Google. Spinning software are not solving the problem of having original content.
And as you know, the trend is using videos as part of a product and is not easy for a beginner to create such product. Teaching a beginner to create fast a questionable ebook and sell for a few dollars I guess is the wrong way. This is why I was thinking he will start with something easy, keep learning and move on. To sell a product for $1o on WF, that product must have a lot of value, hard for a beginner.

The idea of starting as an affiliate and than working on his own products maybe is a faster way to start making some money.

        About your PS:
        - for a $10 sale on WF+ he will not get $10;
        - you are talking about 50% commission as affiliate, which is about Clickbank, but...promoting products of value from Amazon, CJ, etc will get far more money, just an example: a product sold by Amazon for $300 and promoted as affiliate, can translate in $24 commission per sale ($300 x 8%) or $36 ($300 x 12) from CJ.

We all are different and are having our way in IM. Based on our posts, he will have enough alternatives to decide which way to go.

From Jim Rohn, talking about advice he received from his mentor Earl Shoaff (with my emphasis):

"Set a goal to become a millionaire for what it makes of you to achieve it."

He said, "Do it for the skills you have to learn and the person you have to become. Do it for what you end up knowing about the marketplace, what you'll learn about the management of time and working with people. Do it for the ability of discovering how to keep your ego in check. For what you have to learn about being benevolent. Being kind as well as being strong. What you have to learn about society and business and government and taxes and becoming an accomplished person to reach the status of millionaire.

All that you have learned and all that you've become to reach the status of millionaire is what's valuable. Not the million dollars.

If you can do it that way, then once you become a millionaire, you can give all the money away. Because it's not the money that's really important. What's important is the person you have become.

That was one of the best pieces of philosophy I have ever heard in my life.

Nobody ever shared it with me like that before.

Another thing he said was. "beware of what you become in pursuit of what you want. Don't sell out. Don't sell out your principles. Don't compromise your values. Because you might acquire something by doing so, but it won't taste good"

          ---

The 500 dollars can come and go. But if you develop the skills to make 500 dollars a week, or 5000 dollars a week, you'll be able to do it again and again. Just my thoughts ...

Mosa, Adsense are still good, but not so good like several years ago (the logical explanation: huge increase in the number of people having web pages with Adsense, far higher competition).
There are far better alternatives as amount of income generated per domain name.Actualy Adsense are providing the lowest income per domain name. The top belongs to owning your own good quality product.
If you don't believe it, ask any multimillionaire marketer or making a 6 figure yearly income.
If you are making a 6 figure income per year with Adsense, you should share whit people your absolutely unique method (unless you have a huge farms of web pages, which is quantity, not quality).
Again, the real efficiency of a type of IM done by the same marketer (different marketers are having different knowledge, etc) is given by comparing the amount of income obtained per domain name.

        Hi Nitrojeff,

If I could give you one piece of advice to make money online, it would be to get yourself a mentor. It is by far the best way to start. If you have a good mentor, your half way there, the mentor already knows the pittfalls etc.. 'cos he's been there and done it. Why struggle to figure everything out yourself when a mentor can guide you effortlessly through the process.

There are dozens of people out there who can do this but my recommendation would be someone with credability who can be trusted and has proof they do what they say they do.

On this forum you'll see WSO's from 2 guys who I would definitely recommend, (no affiliate links here!!) John Thornhill and Dave Nicholson. They are two of the most helpful, honest and ethical guys out there. I would trust them with my own wallet!!!

        Hope this helps,

        All the best,

        Steve.

It is good that you have already set a weekly target. Now, it is your turn to achieve this target.

You will come to learn lots of things on this forum and several other places in the web.Be logical to pick up things for you. Remember, there is no magic formula behind online success. You need to work hard.

If you have a little amount to invest, just start with a website on one of your favorite topic. This website will be a platform for you to experiment several tips and techniques.

There are lots of ways to earn money online, first you need to know about them before picking up your preferred ways.

If you are not sure about your chosen topic to start a website, just launch a simple blog and pen down your learning process, your experience regularly. At the same time, implement your learnt knowledge and tips on your own blog and see the outcome.

You need to learn on your own and take your own decision.

I think, it makes sense to all of us.

    Cheers

Most people will fail when they first started online. i wasted around $50 for WSO, $40 for 4 websites but all of them do not generate income. Before that, I have the mindset that IM is easy, all you need to do is throw a few bucks in and you will see money coming it, well now I know I was wrong. There is no easy money.

I change my mindset and started offering services on Fiverr, it took me 2 weeks to make $40. Yes, Offering service is the fastest way for me!

Ok, I know most services on Fiverr is already saturated.
But Fiverr's search engine is not the only way to get traffic to your gig.

You can list your gig on your WarriorForum profile signature just like mine.
I get a few sales from WarriorForum itself (I think). If you do a great job, they will come back for more. Most of my customers are repeated customers because they like my service.

So your FIRST impression is the most important.

If you think Fiverr is not worth it, you can try the Warriors for hire. But you'll have to pay $20 to list your service, and another $20 to bump.

Try giving away a few review copy to get great feedbacks on your thread.

    I hope this helps you.

If you can afford it, get a war room membership. There is a mountain of info there on just about anything you could want to get into. Do some digging, see what sparks your interest. Then learn as much as you can, and start taking small steps to implement it, set daily and week goals for completing tasks. Find a mentor in the area you want to work and ask for some guidance. Crawl, walk, run...just keep taking action.

  • I would start with the first sale, the reason I say that is that I have seen people say I need six figures in 1 month or something like that to me it's hard to manage (at least I can't ). What I like to do is just help someone get a few few sales way more easy. I started with my first sale of $47 that got the ball rolling. Good luck to you hope you make the $500 per week.

Can't help but disagree with this.

It took me quite a while to hit 500 a week as an affiliate. And after that, it was tough to maintain.

You'd probably be better off starting with your own services on forums and Fiverr, then transferring some of that cash into other websites to become a more established affiliate.

If you've picked up the technical capability, selling services to offline businesses is fairly easy.

Personally I found the easiest service to deliver is a Google Places Ranking service.

There are many courses here that cover what you need to know.. and you can usually sell it for between $200 to $500 setup plus around $100 to $300 recurring for each new client.

Regardless of which way you go, I suggest you find a good mentor and stay VERY FOCUSED. Avoid the pitfall many of us have fallen into, that being, getting on too many lists, and purchasing endless WSOs. Don't become someone else's ATM.

I've been in IM for over a year and made a few niche sites. It's going to take a lot of work to get 500 dollars a week, especially in the beginning. Unless you make a lot of niche sites but I won't recommend that until after you make your first niche site and see some money from that. You need quality content and lots of traffic to make that much money in a week. Have you thought about joining an affiliate network like peerfly? They have great offers to promote on websites. I think the key is backlinks. Write articles daily and find a good backlinking package so you can start seeing some traffic within a couple of weeks. Have the ads be relevant to your content and you should start seeing some cash flowing in. An example: If you're talking about losing weight than a product that's inexpensive (less than 20 dollars for a higher conversions) can be great to promote on the website. Pick a niche that's not competitive, with a decent number of exact searches per month, so you can scale in search engines easily. From there you can either sale the site on Flippa or you can make another niche site. Good Luck!

How would google know if the links are unnatural? If you buy a small backlinking package and slowly build your links then it would appear to be natural. Google doesn't know that you've purchased a backlink package. I know 1000 links a day looks spammy and will easily get a new site sandboxed but 100 to 250 a month doesn't look bad at all. imo...

You are tackling keywords I wouldn't touch and I have been doing this a couple of weeks. Your going to be directly competing with little sites like Aweber, Get Response, free sites like Mail chimp and List Wire. You are not optimized for the terms on page or in text either.

If you decide the SEO route, go to the SEO board here and Learn. There are some amazing people there. I am not trying to bust your chops here. You seem dedicated to making this work and I hate to see you six months from now still not making a penny.

There is a very good chance of that happening if you continue to only aim off page at a "not optimized" site.

    Hi there,

If you're fairly new and are as frustrated as you've mentioned then I would highly suggest a few things:

    1) Create a WP blog.

    2) Choose 1 product to promote at a time.

    3) Begin you're keyword research, and choose 3 main long-tail keywords.

    4) Create 10 articles - or have them written for you. Submit 5 unique articles in directories like ezine.com, then have 5 unique articles offered on your blog. Use 1 keyword in the title and the body of each article.

    5) Begin creating your social media connection. Build a relationship with people on twitter, facebook, YouTube, forums, blog commenting, etc.

    All the best!

      Hi Nitrojeff,

      Here is the Plan:

-jot down (can use bullet points) several money-making systems/strategies that you have heard about and that sound more likable and making most sense for you.

-Among these number of ideas, start picking half amount of the best ones (so if you have 12 ideas total, pick best 6 first)

-Then go through these 6 and think which of these would make you easiest and fastest income (and also which one would be more reliable and safe, and cost least investment)

-Then narrow down your list to make it the top 3, then top2, and eventually pick the #1 best idea (based on all above said filters) and write it down on a separate sheet of paper. (The main thing here is to sift away all other ideas and leave only one!..)

-After that, start writing down a plan (micro-plan) for this particular system/strategy, that is, write sequence of steps on how to implement this idea. (imagine as if you are writing an advice, say, for your nephew who wants to begin IM and asked your help)

-When you finish, you will have detailed step-by step plan for the best idea you were able to come about, to work in Internet marketing.

-Now, distribute this Plan among days and hours in your first week.

-And lastly, switch off everything, don't open emails, and begin doing it.

-Measure your progress daily by ticking off the boxes in your plan/system.
Work as a machine and also give yourself a break.

-With this approach it is impossible to fail.
      ================================================== =

      Good luck!!!

Of all the comments made above, the best and proven one is Paul Barr's post. What he said was very very true.

Learn how to create your own product. Find what people want especially in forums like this one. Gather those information that can solve people's needs, package it and sell it as a WSO.

Mark my word, if you have done the CORRECT research and price it at the CORRECT price point $500 a week is very very very achievable. Try it and thanked Paul and me later.

PS: I am making more than that amount currently by doing what I have just said

Hey man you are aiming too low! Go for $5000 a week and ignore all the negative remarks that it can't be done. It is best to set a higher goal.

Like others have said though. The starting is in the homework. The "Keyword research".

Go to Google AdWords: Keyword Tool and search some keywords.

Check the competition in Google etc.

    Register a domain name.

Install WordPress (You will need a hosting account)

    Upload content.

    Bookmark to a few places.

Write some articles and submit to top article dirs.

Ping your articles and your site of course.

Rinse and repeat for new sites.

Keep adding unique content from time to time.

Keep building links but not too many to make it look unnatural.

Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.

I go for low-medium high keywords with low competition as they are easier to rank.

I have many sites that only get about 100 hits a day but when you add them all up it all adds to your daily earnings.

    Best of luck!

Well nitrojeff, the advice that I have for you at this point in time would be for you to start out as an affiliate marketer and write one article every day and submit it out to the masses using a system like articlesubmitauto.com.

What you are going to want to do is purchase a domain name and cloak your affiliate link into it using Godaddy.com. You can learn how to do this by going to youtube. And then write up and send out as many articles as you can about a desired niche. The niches with the least competition are the most lucrative. I hope this helps.

haha so many different opinions on here....no that wont work..your to new....no adsense doesn't work in 2012..do this do that....this is why new people get confused....they will read one thread saying to this...then another will say don't waste your time...you then waste more time finding something else that might work..

You can make money in any area online..yes any....you need to master one area....master it....for example..if your doing wso's...study the very best people on here...read every single offer they got...see what they are doing right...mimic that with your own style...

If your doing adsense...read every manual video etc..you can get your hand at...get them from the big hitters in this area..that know what they are doing ..study them...become a master....
This has worked for every area online I have been successful at....I do this full time with employees....

Be careful on who's advice you take on here....wish you the best!..

So are you getting enough advice from this thread so far? Swordmaster's plan makes a lot of sense. Try to make a wise decision on exactly what system you want to use and follow that plan. One of the tough things is to ignor the one billion (low estimate) methods, training courses, secret software etc, that is available to you. You can easilty get bombarded, even here on WF, with lots of ways to make money.
*****Make a plan and stick with it. You may need to tweak it or change but DO NOT LET YOURSELF GET DESTRACTED with all the "make money" offers on the web. Good luck to you!!!!

Best way is to take some of the methods that you have read about and get your hands dirty.

I would say the first few months at least will be like a minefield of information but word of advice if I may:

Stick with ONE method until you see some level of success, evaluate and then move on to another if you don't get desired results.

    Most of all take action!

what are your skills? what are your weaknesses?

service will give some income relatively fast - based on your strengths -, there is a roof though as you are trading time for money.

you can do 2K a month and more from service after having a pool of clients, but you are still trading time for money. And if you have a change of heart, or get sick... your earnings go to zero, it is not a business.

affiliate marketing: works better if you have a list. You can do some decent money if you target the keywords very carefully.

adsense: can´t tell. I only make coins from it.

your own product: I would wait until having something to say. But there are few in my boat. if there is something you are an expert at, by all means go for it.

This is the best stuff I have read on the wf today.

Great stuff +1 Of all, if you do NOT take action, how can you expect to see results. Once I took action, i saw results and had something to test with.

Well,,,,there are so many ways to make money online. Alot of good stuff have been posted on here. I agree with selling a service or product on WSO or Warriors for hire will produce an income for you alot quicker and more steady than other ways. You can work on other ways like building sites, blogs or writing articles. Ebay is another good way to make money online. Skip McGrath has a website that you can learn how to sell on Ebay,,,,he's been a Powerseller for years and knows his stuff. Also,,,there is a book you can get from Amazon that is called, "From Newbie to Millionaire" that is excellent and covers everyway to make money online. It is the only book you will need as it covers everything and is the best one to get and read. Study that book and just figure out which way you want to pursue making an income online and take action and do it. And stick to it and work on it everyday. That is much better than jumping around from one thing to another and just spinning your wheels.

Creating WSOs are the best way to make some cash. If you know of a pressing need that imers have and the subject is a hot one, create a product and market it. You should learn first all about how to do it, though.

    HTH,and good luck.

Question for everyone regarding this and what I've read. Does anyone have a product that they sell on multiple websites? If so you do repackage the product or market it the same on all sites?
