Keyword analysis

by Emailrevealer 5 replies
I know this is a basic question but I've only been serious about doing my own SEO for the last year or so. I used to sub it out but I'm doing better on my own.

I need software that I can find out which keywords are converting to sales. I know it's in adwords but I stopped using adwords.

Suggestions?

    Have you tried spyfu

This has some possibilities on spying on adwords users

I have heard of spyfu but never tried it.
Am I confused because I mentioned that I no longer use adwords.

I'm getting free traffic now. How can I analize that traffic? Like a hit tracker that will tell me what key wordd were typed in and converted to sales.
Like I said I no longer use adwords.

Ok, I thought you were looking for another tool other than adwords

There is all kinds of tracking tools out there

I even have made one to track specific needs the others are not
My tool tracks live links and the process including the bot activity, but does not track the shopping cart activity, not a need for me.

if you want to track specifically converting keywords for sales

Google Analytics will do this for you,

You can enter all your shopping cart details and ecommerce details and it will track this for you.

Just use analytics such as statcounter or googleanalytics. You should be able to see how a visitor came to your site, how long they were there, and the pathways they took before exiting your site.

I think that that is what you are looking for.

Thank you very much to both of you for the advice.

The last time I talked to my webby he claimed that adding google analitics would slow down my page loading. Is his really a factor or is he just a lazy bum in need of a seious beating?
