What is a email subscription list delivery rate increase of 35% worth?

A few months back I had an idea that I thought could improve my delivery rate. I decided to try it out and was able to achieve a 35% increase! Actually it was 35.43%, but who's counting?

Either way, this made me think, maybe I should somehow monetize this, so I wanted to ask my fellow warriors for some advice.

I cant tell you a lot about my idea, but execution would for the webmaster/list owner be easy, but it is hard for someone else to offer this. I may actually be able to patent it...

My questions to you are:

1. Does this even sound interesting to you as a list owner?

2. What do you think it is worth to increase delivery rate with 35% for the average list owner? Alternatively, what would it be worth to you? If I were to turn it into a WSO, what could I charge? If it is a service what about some monthly rates? What would people be willing to pay?

3. Another idea is to simply sell it to Aweber, Mailchimp, iContact or alike. Has anyone had any dealings with them before? Are the owners still involved in the business? Anyone know if they are honest people? What do you think it would be worth to them?

Sorry that I cant explain more yet, but you can always send me a private message with your email if you want to be informed when I launch it.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to read this!

Look forward to seeing your inputs.

Teach others how to do it; Through ebook form.

That's what I would do anyway.

Have you had multiple list owners achieve the 35%, or is it just your list? In the spirit of underpromising and overdelivering, you'd want to make sure you can deliver on such a promise. If you can, I'm sure that many list owners would be happy to pay for such an increase, especially if it leads to more sales. The problem with list building is how many subscribers is not as important as how many buyers.

Without more information we can't offer a lot of help as to the viability of your product/ process.

    Hope this is helpful,

Just my list so far, but it is already quite clean, so I think one might actually be able to get higher rates for other lists.

This is on the other side of the process. Let us say you get 1000 subscribers a month. Normally you actually reach 600 out of those. Your conversion rate is 5%, which equals 30 sales. This increase means that you instead reach 810 subscribers, which leads to 40,5 sales. It will not influence the conversion rate, simply make sure that they even receive your emails. See what I mean?
