Kajabi!! Somebody stop me...

Hello Warriors,

I've been working on my product for about a year now and am getting ready get on-line with it all.

Has anyone used Kajabi? It sure looks like a great central location (command center) to work from.

What are your thoughts? Hell Yes! or Hell No! ?? I guess there is always that middle ground...

I look forward to your thoughts!

Ron

    I don't know what a Kajabi is but ..

Why would you want someone else to make a decision for your business? Only you know what your product is about ... only you will be effected by a decision made about your business. What if the majority here say go for it and it turns out bad advice.

The only thing I could see coming out of it would be someone else to blame if it fails.

Thanks for the input! I've been at this a while and have used DAP to integrate with Wordpress for membership areas. Kajabi just looked like a real simple way to have everything in one place with one login. All the tools they offer, I have but they are not seamless and take some tinkering.

Troy- I'm looking for input from people that have had experience with it. Reviews are a really great way to save some money rather than try every product available. If my product fails that's on me. Thank you for the input it's all much appriciated...

dadamson, I'll be checking out PPC advertising. Thanks for the sugestion.

You changed your title since I posted .. it looks a lot more like you are asking for a review now. When I am wrong about something I don't care to admit it .. this time my reply was wrong and somewhat uncalled for and I apologize.

Well yeah it looks to me like it is just a service which allows you to create a membership site and charge people to access different areas of it.

You can build one yourself with Wordpress and a WP Membership Plugin.

Is this the correct format to sell your product or would it do better here in the WSO section or PPC advertising?

In fact I would recommend PPC advertising to start off with anyway.

Even if you start out losing more than you gain at least you will be able to test the market and go into the venture knowing your market.

Optimize Press installed with WishList Member is another awesome looking membership site. Optimize press takes care of the design work and WishList member takes care of the membership security, payment and registration settings.

Wishlist Member does a better job at those things than Optimize Press but you can't beat the look of Optimize press for the price.

I think Kajabi is a fantastic solution... I will be moving my membership site there if all goes well ... It's $200 a month for the Professional Plan and unless you are good at technical stuff to be able to setup your own site that looks as good as theirs then go for it.

Personally I don't want to spend that much time creating one from scratch anymore. I did it once and it takes a lot of time and messing around with code.

I'm with you Mike! I'm looking for a system that saves me time. My concern is the bandwidth. I guess I could store my downloads at Amazson S3 and just link them in to the membership area. I wonder if that will still affect bandwidth...

Optimize press is a one time purchase. Its $97, I believe. It gives you the ability to create 12 different squeeze page formats. 7 different sales formats. Membership and product launch pages as well.

Cajabi is a pretty easy to use platform specially if you don't know much about setting one up and running it.

Tech support is also always there to help so that's a big plus.

And you already know it has a nice slick look to it.

The only thing you gotta ask yourself is the cost and if you can do it for cheaper... and if it's worth it to do so.

It all comes down to money. If you have it, give it a spin.

While Kajabi works, and makes a good looking page... it's extremely limited as far as design. You can do a lot better with Wordpress IMO unless the temlates in Kajabi suit your needs.
