Can you have both affiliates and adsense on the same site?

This has probably been covered here before but the search tab for this forum is either messed up or i am not using it properly.
I never get the search results i want from it so hence this thread. My question is can you have both affilites and adsense on one website?

    There's no reason why you couldn't, if you are asking if it were allowed.

    Another question is if you should do it, cause, for example, adsense could
    distract your visitors from your affiliate offers and reduce your sales.

    You must cloak your affiliate links otherwise Google will ban your adsence account. Do a search here on WF there are a lot of stories of banned Adsence accounts.
