Warning about using adsense on your websites.

HI All..

Warning about using adsense.. on your sites..

After being with adsence for over 7 years.. and never having a problem....

I woke up to my account the other day being disabled...

So I put in an appeal... saying I have no idea why they close my account...

I had adsense on over 30 domains for over the past 3-4 years. with out issues..

I have never clicked on the ads on my sites and I have never got anyone to click the ads for me..

I use to make $5-$10 per day on my adsense account but over the past 3-4 year I have not done much with it at all so
my income dropped down to $2-$3 per day.. some times even less...

I got an email today saying we can not re-activate your adsense account and thanks for understanding lol...

Understanding... what **** did I do wrong... is it my fault if a visitor to one of my sites goes crazy and clicks on my ads a lot / many times...

And you asked me to send you ip/ traffic logs and more info // how can i do this if you will not tell me the website that had an issue.. LOL

well guess what adsense.. you can eat my butt... I will replace your crappy ads with something else.

What would have made this worse is if I worked on my sites 7-10 hours per day and was making $3k-$5k per day and they can rip your income from under you
without warning.... well I have read alot of threads in forums about this... but I always thought those people that had their accounts closed click their own ads
or had friends click their ads....

Now I know that is not the case cause I know for 100% I did not click any ads nor did I get anyone to click my ads...

Looks like I may have to find my competitors and click their ads for a week.. and get some accounts closed...

What a joke...

Just goes to show they don't care about customer service or the impact on your business.

You don't really want to be reliant in any way on a company that treats you like that anyway so they probably did you a favour.

Well you've just got to carry on and find an alternative monetization plan. Google is no one's grand daddy and they can really f*ck you over any time they decide.

I agree that Google is a pain to work with. While it can be very lucrative, they are making it increasingly more difficult to play by their rules.

    Ya, it happens.

Just switch your ad spots over to CPA, much better $ to be made and with way faster payouts.

I would imagine they thought your sites were setup soley for adsense revenue. If so they will close the account, specially when they see 30 similar sites.

You need to pretend you are catering to the surfer and providing a unique experience, or, actually do that.

It isnt about a warning. It is a business decision. Some people chose to put adsense on their sites as a way to generate revenue. Most people do not have their accounts banned. The main people who get their accounts banned are people using those X factor style templates with 1-3 pages of content on an exact match domain.

If that is what you are doing, then yes, you will eventually get banned.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience.

There are more ways of getting banned from Adsense, than by clicking your own Ads or asking others to click them.

The only thing you can do now, is to use a different Advertising Revenue solution.

    Best of luck!

      Whos That Guru suggested CPA.

EZIMEDIA, if you are interested, some of many popular CPA networks are AzoogleAds, Copeac, Direct Leads, Hydra Network, MaxBounty, Never Blue Ads, Offers Quest, Rocket Profit

Yeah Google are like Paypal in that they make up their mind and they don't want to hear your side of the argument.

It sucks and I hope you can find something else to replace the Adsense ads and still earn you some money.

Or you can create an account in the name of someone else you trust, e.g. your partner, then party on. :-)

An interesting point crops up here regarding Australian Dept of Consumer Affairs vs Google.

A few weeks back Google did exactly this to an Australian AdSense sites owner and reduced his income to near zero. (I'm afraid I don't know what his income was before the slap).

Google claimed in the courtroom that they had slapped this operator because they had evidence he was breaking the rules by clicking on AdSense ads from his own sites contrary to their terms of service.

The sites owner counterclaimed that it was his right to click on the AdSense ads published on his sites to see where they led to and decide whether the landing pages were complimentary to his sites. He stressed the point that he only clicked on each ad once for testing purposes and Google did not dispute this so we must assume it was fact.

Australian Department of Consumer Affairs brought the action.

The result: Google were ordered to reinstate the websites owner and all sites with no future prejudice. Also the tribunal were deliberating on damages that Google should pay.

Google were told that they must abide by Australian Law if they wished to do business in Australia.

Now this may not be of use to people residing outside of Australia but I'm sure most Nations/States will have something like a Department of Consumer Affairs or a Fair Trading Department. This may be the place to start because I think we all agree that Google hate seeing anybody but themselves making a buck online.

    Hope this is of help.

    Cheers
    Davmac
