About to Launch a Product - Desperately Need Tips :)

Hi guys,

I've been here for a while, occasionally scanning threads. (I know I should do a better job as a member of the community and hopefully I can accomplish that in the future). I'm also a member of a local SEO group and we have a forum to maintain which is really hard with all the spams etc + a lot of local SEO conferences / events.

Anyway, I'm not new to SEO or Internet Marketing, but I am new to Launching my own product - actually, this would be my first.

The product targets SEOs and it's almost done (we've done beta testing with a few close friends) and the website is undergoing design improvements, layout/colors etc.

I would appreciate tips from our Warrior friends here. And yes, seeing that there are a lot of SEOs and Internet Marketers here, it would be an honor if I can market my product here.

    There's one thing you need here: proof that it works. Once you can crank up a fairly good copy and sell it for cheap, maybe $9 on the front-end, you'll be able to get a lot of buyers some of whom would want to know more, and will readily buy your $97 products or services. Give affiliates 100% commission and the product will sell like gangsbusters.

    This is the secret to making money from product launching.

      Nailed it! this is the best way to test your product,
      tweak your copy and then see what will happen.

      Take a scientific approach and test it as a WSO.

      Hope this helps and may you sell a million copies.

    I havent launched a product of my own but helped others heres what i'd suggest:

    1. LAunch as WSO, with all the proof, video steps, etc...
    2. Get Testimonials, feedback
    3 Re-Work Your Product so it has been updated, and more ready all bugs fixed etc... Depending on the feedback you could send out updated version again and ask for feedback if there was a lot of problems.
    4. Post a JV on JVNotifyPro, talk to Mike beforehand to finalize costs etc...
    5. Set an Official Launch Date MAke sure your affiliates, your list, followers basically everyone knows.
    6. Launch your product.
