How do you connect a Blog to your website for free?

Hi

I have a website.. I would like to start writing my blogs connecting the link to my website so i can have a BLOG link on my homepage on my online shop then goes to my blog for people to lesve comments etc. How do i do this?

    Hey Kange,
    Most of my blogs are standalone, but I recently added a blog to a clients existing html based website.

    What I did, was simply use fantastico on his hosting cPanel and upload the blog to a directory I called Blog

    Then on the existing website I changed the menus to reflect the addtion of the blog... and on the blog, I added menu items pointing back to the original site as well.

    Also, I set the colour schemes etc. to match the original site.

      This -- it's not very difficult to do. Takes around 10-15 minutes for someone who knows what they're doing. If you're not sure, hire a pro to do the job for you.

    Why not add the blog as a subdomain of your main website?

    Otherwise you can create one on a different website or blogging platform and link the two entities using RSS feeds to automatically publish excerpts of blog posts to your main website.

    so i could use a blog platform like Ezine for example and then link the ezine url onto my website and do it that way?
