Does Skype Work As A Marketing Tool For You?

Hi Everyone,

I've wanted to join Skype for the longest time, I've just
been putting it off. I guess it's just pure procrastination.

My question(s) to all Skype experienced Warriors.
1) How has this benefited you?
2) And has this been an asset to your Internet Marketing capabilities?
2a) If so, can you give some examples of helping in your online business?

    • I haven't used skype as part of the sales process however I have used it for networking and its great for that.

  • I have used it to record interviews (and by law you have to let them know you are recording them) and I use it for support as well.

    I am sure it could be easily used for marketing. However, for most people I think it is more of a contact tool. Being easily contactable gives clients confidence and trust and gives you credibility. So any tool like Skype, IM's or even an 800 number all serve that purpose.

    depends on what you call "Marketing".

    Helps loosely in several ways:

    1.Easier to catch top marketers on skype than any other medium (including email)
    2.Easier to multi task and hold important conversations at same time
    3.my phone conferencing company allows me to use skype to phone in offering incredible quality line
    4.It is free and almost anyone you need to talk to has it!

    • The Skype service is awesome I believe the quality is very very good. I have recently had an issue with them in the past and would like to share that with fellow warriors but not sure If I can do that in here (would that be flaming?) but if you want to pm me feel free to do so
