WordPress Squeeze Pages

Is there a good guide anywhere for how to create squeeze pages in WordPress?

Or can any of you IM masters guide me on how to create one. I feel like my site ie being limited by the simple subscribe form in the left sidebar and it needs to be more prevalent.

I added a custom theme options page to the admin panel. You can download this one for free without having to option in to anything. There's a direct link to the file on the page.

I use a WP theme called OptimizePress which is super easy to use and creates some awesome optin and sales pages.

There are other themes out there that do the same thing, but I haven't tried them.

I use OptimizePress as well. It's a great little theme for WP that costs only a fraction of what a programmer would - and of course you can still edit the PHP files to make your site do what you need it to.

The theme comes with a series of pre-loaded pages, among them are quite a few squeeze page layouts.

If you want to see the kind of quality you can expect, check out the link to the 7-day e-course in my forum signature. That page was done using optimizepress.

Should you decide that you don't want to fork out the $97 for O.P., then I would look for a very clean Wordpress theme of your choosing, then install it on a subdirectory on your domain.

Just edit the PHP script for the page so that it's set up the way you'd like it to be and you're off to the races!

      Cheers,
      -Adrian

A agree Chris there are some great html templates but I still think OptimizePress saves time, and it does more like sales and membership things as well.

What if I already have my theme? Is there a plugin or simple way to create a page that acts as a squeeze page?

It's all about getting something up there and not waiting for everything to be perfect or waiting for the "Right Moment"!!!

When I first started building a list I just found some Free squeeze page site on YouTube, got a squeeze page up there and then tweaked and tested later on. Don't wait around just get something up there and worry about being perfaect later.

    Hope this helps.
