First thing I do is download a plugin called SeoQuake, it's better on FireFox, it display the PR when you search for your keyword + Guest Blogging on Google. Hope this help, There are other ways to do Guest Blogging other Warrior members can also share with you how to get about it.

In google search type in your keyword followed by "Write for us" or "Guest Posts" etc.

The SEOQuake plugin is good but don't pay too much attention to it as often the search results will show inner pages, such as the page where they outline how to submit a guest post to their site. So the PR on this page isn't relevant.

Sign up for 2 free services - MyBlogGuest and BloggerLinkUp. Both of those will make it easy to find people who are looking for guest posts, and you can even use them to get the word out that you're looking for guest posting opportunities. BloggerLinkUp's updates even get sent right to your inbox 3 times a week, so you don't have to remember to log in and check for new stuff.

Or have a search on Twitter for people in your niche and offer to write for them or at least get contact that way.

    Here's the method I use.

    1) Sign up for a few popular blogs in the niche using Google Reader (or your preferred RSS reader).

    2) Read the comments, click through to the commentators websites and if they are relevant add their blog to your RSS reader.

    3) Repeat this process on the websites you have just added and keep doing it until you have a fairly big list of relevant blogs in the niche.

    4) Use Google Reader to determine which blogs are updated regularly and which are not updated that regularly.

    5) Delete the ones that are not updated regularly from your RSS reader unless they are very popular (use Alexa.com in combination with the number and recency of comments to determine popularity. If a website's not been updated for 2 months but it has a good Alexa rank and lots of recent comments, it's worth keeping.).

    6) Start interacting on the blogs that are left over in your RSS reader. Post useful and relevant comments, ask questions and try to get a bit of dialogue going with the blog owners.

    7) Once you've established a bit of a relationship with the blog owners, contact them and introduce yourself. Say you really enjoy reading and interacting on their blog, that you have a related site and you would love to contribute a guest post.

Using the above methods might not always get you guest posting gigs on high PR blogs (most of the time popular blogs with lots of comments have a high PR but not always) but it will ensure that you get lots of relevant, targeted traffic reading your guest post as the blog has a very active following.

    Hope this helps,

    Tom

Find other blogs with enough PR to which you are satisfied. Provide helpful comments on various topics on the blog. Contact the webmaster and propose to do a guest blog or a possible exchange of guest posts.
