I have installed WP. Now want to set up my site. What to do next. Should I select a theme & install it before proceeding with writing my contents. Please advise me the way forward now, steps wise.

    Hey cbnet you can select a theme and change that theme at any time. You should set up your contact, about and home page. Also a privacy policy and Disclaimer if you are going to be monetising that site. There are Various Plug ins that help protect your site as well as optimise your site among many other things.

    Then you can look at posts it depends on what type of site you are putting together. I would suggest finding a quality program to learn from as there are many things involved with optimising a WP site.

    Here are some of my previous sites you can use as an example for the pages.
    Also I am happy to look at your site and evaluate it when you have finished it.

    It does not really matter. In the beginning you will not have too many visitors.

    So, I would start to write content and then make the sites nice and pretty in a few days.
