Why bother asking for help

If you ask for help on this forum, don't just focus on those who tell you what you want to hear; like how it's not your fault because you've been online for donkey years and have only made $1.

If you really want to improve and grow, listen to those criticisms that really hurt. Yes, there are trolls and other horrible people who are nasty and don't add anything of value to your thread - ignore those.

Listen to one or two people who pat you on the back - this might help your confidence level.

But pay the bulk of your attention to the critics who offer constructive ways for you to improve.

If you can't afford a coach or a mentor, you will learn a lot from this forum BUT you need to pay attention.

By the way, this isn't a rant. It's just a piece of advice based on some observations. It is not my attention to aggravate anyone or give offence.

    Sharon,

Anyone who's offended by that advice isn't smart enough to benefit from it anyway.

I believe this is very true, almost even common sense. If your looking for help, but dont like the answers that are offering the help. Then to me your really not looking for help. I never take a negative post to heart. I take it as constructive criticism and try to understand why they said what they said and see if I can use there post to better what im trying to do or understand

Especially in the online money making niche. It's no easy task and sometimes what people need is the truth.

True. Plus, some of the best IM mentors are actually on this forum.

There are some very smart minds available here and if you pay attention, you can learn a lot. That's what makes WF an awesome place to be.

Good advice writerwahm. You are correct! In everything we do, do not just take those good advices or ideas , but also take those criticisms to make you better on whatever endeavor you take.
