Let me clarify something here.

He said the people on his list have paid $2 for trial access to one of his products.

He did not say he's the one who got the $2. It's not abnormal for people to offer 100% commissions so they can get lots of subscribers quickly. In fact, many WSOs teach precisely that - and many others are doing precisely that.

That said, I propose a few mistakes have been made.

First, while this is a buyers list, it is a $2 buyers list. So whatever you are selling people needs to be between $2 and $12. In general, you can "upsell" a buyers list by $10 or 50% in my experience; the buyers for a $27 product will usually upsell to $40 pretty reliably, but not to $50 in any significant numbers.

Second, "looking for ways to make money online" is a pretty crappy demographic because it's basically "looking for money" which is essentially everyone. You don't know who these people are or what they'll respond to, so it's going to be difficult to target their real interests.

Third, because they have paid for trial access, there would normally be a recurring component on the back end of that for which they are not paying. Before you go racing around looking for a recurring product to sell them, it is worth asking why they aren't continuing past your trial.

But enough about the problems, let's see if we can't solve them.

We know they'll give you $2 once. I recommend you start segmenting with small $7-$12 products on different subjects, so you can go from one six-figure list of $2 buyers to several five-figure lists of $7 and $12 buyers. What they buy will also tell you what they're interested in, which will help you find offers that better match those interests.

Expect to lose about half of your initial list. That's fine, they're not going to buy anything much over $2 anyway so don't worry about it.

Once you segment things out, send them a few offers - some single-pay, some recurring - around the $10-$20 a month range.

Starting from a 300k list, you should be able to convert about a thousand into subscribers within a month or two, which ought to give you a $15k recurring monthly income.

Put the campaign into your autoresponder. Keep doing whatever you did to get the 300k people on your list, and each time you send an email, make it part of the followup sequence so it will go out automatically a couple days after the last one when new people sign onto the list.

What you're doing here is building a funnel, where you drop prospects into one end - the big 300k list you're starting with - and then the machinery takes over and spits recurring commission payments out the other side.

You've got enough numbers that you can do useful analysis and tracking, and think about it like a numbers game... but the only way you can keep it working into the future is to keep in mind that the people on your list are, well, people - and to respect them as such. You can stereotype a little, but the stereotype needs to be more than "person with $10" if you want this to succeed.

well the best route for you is to stop asking warriors what to sale your list... ask your list what they want??? then create it specifically for them... and they will definitely buy it... and if thats too much for you... sale solo ads... that would make you good money with a list that size... jus my 2 cents... good luck...
